Unplug the appliance when it is off. Be careful when using it if it has been in contact with liquids, if its electric cord is damaged, or if its body and/or accessories show clear signs of

If the appliance does not work properly, disconnect it from the power immediately and take it to an approved service centre.

If the electric cord is damaged, it must be replaced immediately by the manufacturer, an authorised service centre, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD
- The standard warranty period for the hair straighteners we market is 24 months in compliance with European Directive 1999/44/EC.
- The professional warranty period for hair straighteners that are used at beauty salons and for any other professional purposes is 12 months from the date of purchase.
- In both cases, the warranty shall be valid upon presentation of the proof of purchase consisting of original invoice or purchase ticket indicating the date of purchase and product type. Such proof must be legible, full and undamaged.
CAUTION
- This appliance is designed with a protective coating around the heating coils.
- When plugged in and operated for the first time, there may be a momentary burning smell.
- This occurs when the coating around the heating element is heated for the first time.
- This is not dangerous for the user and does not indicate a defect in the unit.
- When using the appliance for the first time, keep it working until the smell dissipates.
- Smoke dissipates after about 30 seconds.
ON-OFF MODELS OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- Plug the appliance into the power outlet.
- Turn on the iron by pressing the I/0 button.
- The straightening iron will reach the temperature of 230°C/446°F in just a few seconds.
- Turn off the iron by pressing the I/0 button.
- Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
- Let the iron cool before putting it back in its case.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
- Keep your appliance well maintained in order to ensure the best performance and to extend product life cycle.
- If kept clean, the heating plates will continue to glide easily through your hair.
- Heat can cause chemical elements (colorings, treatments, mousse, sprays, waxes, etc.) on your hair to be transferred onto the heating plates.
- After each use, we recommend disconnecting the appliance from the electrical outlet; let it cool down and then use a damp cloth to remove any residues from the heating plates.
- Do not use particularly aggressive agents on the heating plates of the hair straighteners.
- Make sure that the appliance is completely dry before using it.
