IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

DANGER As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts are
electrically live even when the switch is off.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF DEATH BY ELECTRIC SHOCK:
- Always unplug the appliance immediately after use.
- If an appliance falls into the water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water.
- For household and indoor use only.
WARNING To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to persons:
- An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
- Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on or near children or individuals with certain disabilities.
- Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
- Never block the air opening of the appliance or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair and the like.
- Never drop or insert any object into any opening or hose.
- Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
- Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.
- The item is hot when in use. Do not let eyes and bare skin touch heated surfaces.
- Do not place this appliance directly on any surface while it is hot or plugged in.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT- During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice
smoke and a slight odor. This is normal and is not a cause for concern.
To help you get the most of this appliance, please follow this operating
guide.
- USE ON DRY HAIR ONLY.
- Remove the plastic cap off the end of the plug.
- Plug the unit into a wall outlet.
- To turn on, hold the power button in for about 3 seconds.
- Separate 5 cm strand of hair and place it between plates.
- Maintaining some tension, slowly slide the iron down the section of hair from roots to ends. Be careful to avoid touching your hands and scalp with the hot plates.
- Allow hair to cool before combing or brushing.
- Repeat as necessary.
- Once styling is completed, unplug the iron and allow it to cool before storing away.
NOTE: 60 minutes Auto Shut Off is installed for safety. To restart, please repeat Step 4.
TEMPERATURE SETTING
This appliance has 10 temperature settings ranging from 140°C to 230°C to
provide styling versatilities for different hair types. You can vary the
temperature according to your particular needs. Use the temperature button to
choose the desired temperature. It’s best to start with a lower temperature
until you are confident using the appliance.
OUR RECOMMENDATIONS
- 140°C – 150°C for very thin hair;
- 160°C – 170°C for fine hair;
- 180°C – 190°C for normal hair;
- 200°C -210°C for very thick or coarse hair
- 220°C – 230°C for professional use.
BASIC OPERATION INSTRUCTION
- Rotate the temperature dial to select from 140°C to 230°C. The tool will alert with 2 beeping sounds once desired temperature is achieved.
- Lock: close the plates and then rotate the rear locking mechanism from left to right for storage.
- Unlock: rotate the rear locking mechanism from right to left to unlock the tool for operation.
CARE AND MAINTENAINCE
Your appliance is virtually maintenance-free. NO lubrication is needed. Keep
heated surfaces clean and free of dust, dirt and hair spray. If cleaning
becomes necessary, disconnect the appliance from the power source and wipe the
exterior with a damp cloth. If the cord becomes twisted, untwist it prior to
use.
Warning! If a malfunction occurs, do not attempt to repair it yourself.
This appliance has no user-serviceable parts. Any other servicing should be
performed by a licensed service center.
STORAGE
- Switch off and unplug the appliance after use.
- Allow the appliance to cool down completely and store it out of reach of children in a safe, dry location.
- Clean the appliance with a damp soft cloth.
- Never wrap the cord around the appliance since this will cause the cord to wear prematurely and break.
- Handle the cord carefully for longer life and avoid jerking, twisting or straining, especially at plug connections.
- Inspect the cord frequently for damage. Stop use immediately if damage is visible or if the appliance stops or operates intermittently.
- For longer service of the Dial to open/close the barrel, it is suggested not to close and lock the barrel unless when it is on a trip for easier storage.

This product is marked with the symbol for a separate collection. The product
must be disposed of in accordance with the regulations for disposal of
electrical and electronic equipment (Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical
and electronic equipment). Disposal together with regular municipal waste is
prohibited. Dispose of all electrical and electronic products in accordance
with all local and European regulations at the designated collection points
which hold the appropriate authorization and certification in line with the
local and legislative regulations. Correct disposal and recycling help to
minimize impacts on the environment and human health. Further information
regarding disposal can be obtained from the vendor, authorized service center
or local authorities.
