ALPINE S2-S68 Speaker
Product Information
Congratulations on your purchase of high-quality speakers from Alpine. These speakers are designed to provide exceptional sound quality and performance. To ensure that you get the best experience from your speakers, please read the following guidelines carefully.
Guidelines for Maximizing Speaker Performance
- Do not over-drive the amplifier: Over-driving the amplifier can result in distortion or clipping, which can damage the speakers. It is important to use the speakers within their recommended power handling limits.
- Set gain controls properly: Follow the instructions provided in your amplifier’s owner’s manual to correctly set the gain controls. Improperly set gain controls can affect the performance of the speakers.
- Ensure proper speaker rating: Make sure that the speaker is properly rated for the amplifier. Using a speaker with a lower rating than the amplifier can lead to damage.
- Avoid over-driving the amplifier: Ensure that volume, bass, treble, equalization, or crossover settings do not cause the amplifier to over-drive. Over-driving the amplifier can damage the speakers.
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in burned or damaged speaker voice coils, which will void your warranty. If you require further assistance, please contact your Alpine authorized dealer.
