Ruijie RG-RAP6202(G) Access Point
Package Contents
Management software WSP-RAP6202(G) is installed on the access point upon delivery .
Connecting the Access Point to the Internet
The access point can also be powered by a DC power adapter (12 V/1.5 A). The adapter should be purchased separately.
Mounting the Access Point
Wall Mount
- Secure the mounting plate on the wall using expansion bolts.
- Install the access point and the connecting rod to the mounting plate using M8?0 screws.
Vertical Pole Mount
- Secure the mounting plate to the vertical pole by threading two clamps through the mounting plate.
- Install the access point and the connecting rod to the mounting plate using M8?0 screws.
Horizontal Pole Mount
- Secure the mounting plate to the horizontal pole by threading two damps through the mounting plate.
- Install the accass point and the connecting rod to the mounting plate using M6″20 screws.
Installing the Cable Gland
- Trim an Ethernet cable according to the distance between the access point and the power supply.
- Insert the unterminated end of the Ethernet cable through part D, C and B in sequence.
- Install an RJ45 connector on the unterminated end of the Ethernet cable using an Ethernet cable installation tool.
- Insert the RJ45 connector into the LAN1/PoE/uplink port of the access point, and tighten part B, C and D in sequence.
- If you want to install the cable gland without an Ethernet cable threaded through it, insert the waterproof rubber rod into the washer (rubber gasket), and tighten part B, C and D in sequence.
- Make sure to cap the DC port and the reset button with clean waterproof caps and insert them into the slot of connecting rod.
Configuring the Access Point
Method 1 (Recommended)
Scan the QR-code in the manual or on the device to download Ruijie Cloud App,
and follow the guide on App to configure the network.
Method 2
Connect to the Wi-Fi network (default SSID: @Ruijie-mxxxx), or plug an
Ethernet cable into the LAN port of the access point, and visit
http://10.44.77.253. If you want to configure a specific device, please plug
an Ethernet cable into its LAN port and visit
http://10.44.77.254.
Note:
This equipment is restricted to indoor operation in 5.15-5.35GHz for Hong
Kong.
