Product Usage Instructions

Objective of the Game

  • The objective of the game is to be the first player to place all toppings of their color in the ice cream slime and add the cherry on top, while avoiding the fly.

Playing the Game

The player who most recently ate ice cream goes first. On a player’s turn, they hold the cone and then spin the spinner. There are three kinds of spaces — toppings, fly, and cherry.

  • If a player lands on a topping space, they take their topping, in their color only, from that spinner space and place it in the ice cream slime. They may need to push it in or squish the slime around it to make sure it will stay. If a player has already collected their topping from that space, their turn is over and play passes to the next person.
  • If a player lands on the fly, the bug has landed in the ice cream! Yuck! The player should place the fly in the ice cream slime. If the fly is already in the ice cream slime, then landing on this space means the player removes the fly.
  • If the ice cream slime melts below the bottom of the cone (whether it is in the player’s hand or on the cone stand), then the active player must remove one of their toppings from the ice cream slime and place it back on the spinner, ending their turn.
  • If the ice cream slime is at risk of dripping too far, the active player may choose to spend their turn scooping up the slime with their hands and placing it back on top of the cone. Players who scoop up the ice cream cannot spin the spinner, and their turn ends as soon as they are done scooping. If any charms fall out, they must be placed back onto the spinner, and players will need to spin them again on a future turn.

When a player’s turn is over, they pass the cone to the player on their left. Players take turns spinning and passing the cone to their left until there is a winner.

Lil’ Sprinkles (Modifications)

Want a less challenging game or playing with younger kids? Try these modifications!

  • The cone stand may be used at any time (or the whole time) if players need to set down the cone while the ice cream slime is still on the cone. This can be helpful for younger players who need both hands to spin the spinner.
  • On a player’s turn, they may use their hands to scoop up the ice cream slime and place it back on the cone at any time. There is no penalty for the ice cream slime dripping — but it helps to keep the charms from falling!
  • Allow players to pick up any fallen toppings and place them back in the ice cream slime at any time.

Clean Up & Storage

When the game is over, take all the charms out of the slime, then place the slime back in its container and tightly screw on the lid. Charms may be cleaned with water and air dried. Use a paper towel to wipe the game board clean if needed. The ice cream cone and cone stand may be separated and stored by gently pulling the pieces apart and placing them back in the box. Do not twist the pieces apart, as this may cause them to break.

OBJECT OF THE GAME

  • Take turns spinning the spinner and trying to get all your toppings into the ice cream slime first!
  • Once you have all your toppings, you’ve got to get the cherry on top to win — but watch out for the fly!

SET UP

First Time Assembly

Using the arrows which are molded into the cone as a guide, twist together the two cone pieces. Then twist the chocolate scoop onto the top of the cone. Align the divots on the strawberry and vanilla scoops, pressing them together until you hear a ‘click’ — make sure these also are aligned by using the small, molded arrows, or else it may come apart while playing the game. Press the cone holder pieces together firmly until you hear a ‘click.’ Pull apart the spinner arrow. Assemble the spinner by placing the spinner base through the hole in the spinner board and snapping the arrow on top.

Game Set Up

Each player chooses a color to use in the game and gathers all toppings in that color. Each player places their topping charms on the spinner spaces, matching the SHAPE of the topping to the shape on each spinner space. There should be one of each color topping on the star, heart, moon and roll spaces. Place the cherry charm on the cherry space, and the fly charm on the fly space. All topping charms not in use may be placed back in the box. Place the game board in the center of the table and set the cone stand on the center of the game board. Open the ice cream slime container and take out the slime. In your hands, mold the slime into a ball and place it on the top of the ice cream cone. This is the final scoop!

WARNING: DO NOT EAT THE SLIME. The slime included in this game is non- toxic, but not intended for consumption. Be careful not to place slime on fabric, furniture, wood, or carpet. Keep the slime on the ice cream cone or on the game board at all times while in use.

PLAYING THE GAME

The player who most recently ate ice cream goes first. On a player’s turn, they hold the cone and then spin the spinner. There are three kinds of spaces — toppings, fly, and cherry.

  • If a player lands on the cherry, they might be close to winning! First, they must see if they have added all their toppings to the ice cream slime. Then, they must check to see if the fly is in the ice cream slime. If they still have ANY toppings in their color left on the spinner or if the fly is in the ice cream, they must leave the cherry on the spinner space and their turn is over. However, if the player has already placed all their toppings in the ice cream and the fly is NOT in the ice cream, then they place the cherry on top of the ice cream and the game is over!

Watch out, the ice cream keeps on melting as you play! If the ice cream slime melts below the bottom of the cone (whether it is in the player’s hand or on the cone stand), then the active player must remove one of their toppings from the ice cream slime and place it back on the spinner, ending their turn. If the ice cream slime is at risk of dripping too far, the active player may choose to spend their turn scooping up the slime with their hands and placing it back on top of the cone. Players who scoop up the ice cream cannot spin the spinner, and their turn ends as soon as they are done scooping.
