Product Information
The product is a Wi-Fi 3-in-1 Trio Sensor Add-on Device with the model number WTS3100. It comes with the following items:
- 1 x Wi-Fi 3-in-1 Trio Sensor
- 7 x Double-sided Tapes
- 4 x Mounting Screws
- 1 x Battery (CR123A)
All Home8 add-on devices are designed to work with Home8 systems.
Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Assemble your device and accessories
- Unpack your device and accessories.
- Pair the device with the Security Shuttle within 1-10 feet to ensure a good connection.
- Pull and remove the black plastic strip at the back of the device to initiate battery contact. The LED will flash red for a second.
Step 2: Add a device
- Open the Home8 app, tap on the menu button and select Device Management.
- Press the add button ‘+’ next to Sensor List. Follow the app instructions to scan the QR code located on the device. If the scan is incomplete, you may need to enter the serial number (SN) of the device.
Step 3: Mount your device
Before mounting the device, make sure it is within the range of the Security Shuttle.
- Take your device to the room where you want to use it.
- Test the device by pressing the tamper switch for 5 seconds and then release it. If you receive a notification stating that the device has been tampered with, it means it is within range.
- Mount the device using the provided double-sided tapes.
For optimal performance, it is recommended to face the sensor towards an open area. Ensure that the tops of the two mounting pieces line up and mount the device in a vertical/upright position. The recommended mounting height is 6.6 ft (2M). Avoid placing the device facing a window, sunlight, or any source of heat such as a heater. The maximum thickness for mounting is 1/4 inch (0.6 cm).

FAQ
Do you need to reset your sensor?
- If your device isn’t communicating with the Security Shuttle, your app may ask you to reset your device.
- Open the front cover of the sensor.
- Remove the battery and insert again.
- Press the tamper switch four times within 1.5 seconds and during the 4th press, hold the tamper switch until the LED lights up. After 3 seconds the LED will turn OFF, and after the next 2 seconds, release the tamper switch. If reset successfully, the LED will light on for 1 second. Otherwise, the LED will flash once.
- Return to the app and follow the onscreen instructions.
Step 2: Add a device
- Open the Home8 app, tap on the menu button ” ” and select “Device Management”.
- Press the add button ‘+’ next to Sensor List.
- Follow the app instructions to scan the QR code located on the device.
Note: If the scan is incomplete, you will be asked to enter the serial number (SN) of the device.
Step 3
Mount your device
Before you mount your device, see if it’s within the Security Shuttle’s range.
- Take your device to the room you want to use it in.
- Test the device by pressing the tamper switch for 5 seconds and then release it. If you get a notification that says your device has been tampered with, it’s within range. Mount the device with the included double-sided tapes.
- Now you can go to the “Energy” tile to set up your device.
