XM160-2-98 Amplifier Mounting Plate Installation Instructions
Installation Procedure:
- Identify a suitable location on your bike for mounting the amplifier.
- Place the amplifier mounting plate (Fig 1.1) on the chosen location and ensure it is securely positioned.
- Using appropriate screws or bolts, attach the amplifier to the mounting plate. Ensure the amplifier is tightly secured.
- Double-check the stability of the installation to ensure the amplifier is securely mounted to the plate and bike.
- Test the amplifier to ensure proper functionality before use.

XM160-2-98 Amplifier Mounting Plate Installation Instructions
Installation procedure
- Using one of the supplied pieces of Velcro®, attach the amplifier to the plate as shown in Fig 1.1, noting that the amplifier will be upside down so the power harness is facing the front of the bike.
- Using the second piece of Velcro, attach the amplifier/plate assembly to the brake side of the bike, making sure that the holes in the plate are lined up with the holes in the bottom of the fairing.
NOTE: The bolts that hold the turn signals in place will secure the plate even though the adhesive does most of the work.
