Product Information
Installation Locations:
The Big Fan V2 is a ceiling fan designed for installation in coastal, indoor,
and outdoor locations, including residential, commercial, and industrial
settings. It is also suitable for installation in a pergola or outside in a
sheltered area protected from wind. The fan features a Matt Black finish with
Natural Oak blades.
Min. Recommended Height:
The fan comes with a standard canopy cover suitable for flat ceilings. The
weight of the complete fan, including packaging, is 18.9kg for the 86 model
and 19.1kg for the 106 model. The minimum recommended height between the
lowest point of the fan blades and the floor should be at least 2.1m, as per
Australian standards. However, due to the size of this fan, it is recommended
to have a minimum clearance of 2.7m for the 86 model and 3.0m for the 106
model.
Motor:
The motor of the fan is a 190mm x 35mm DC motor made with high-grade copper
windings and silicone steel stator. The bearings are sealed to ensure quiet
operation and long life.
Top Canopy & Downrod:
The top canopy and downrod are made of steel.
Extra Information:
The fan is equipped with a 9-speed remote controller and is reversible,
allowing for both cooling and air circulation.

Airflow CMH:
The fan provides high airflow, with a capacity of 35,480 CMH on High speed
(Speed 9) for the 86 model and 43,620 CMH on High speed (Speed 9) for the 106
model.
Warranty*:
The fan comes with a warranty of 2 years on all electric components, including
control modules, remote control system, lighting, and accessory wall control.
Additionally, there is a 3-year standard in-home warranty and a 3-year
extended warranty on the motor only (excluding labor).

Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the installation location is suitable for the fan, considering whether it is coastal, indoor, or outdoor. If installing outdoors, make sure it is in a sheltered area protected from wind.
- Check that the ceiling is flat and suitable for installation with the standard canopy cover provided.
- Determine the minimum recommended height between the lowest point of the fan blades and the floor. For this fan, it should be at least 2.1m as per Australian standards. However, due to the size of the fan, it is recommended to have a minimum clearance of 2.7m for the 86 model and 3.0m for the 106 model.
- Unpack the fan and ensure all components are included and undamaged.
- Install the motor pack using the provided dimensions: 53L x 34W x 31H for the 86 model and 106 model.
- Install the blade inner box using the provided dimensions: 100.5L x 5.5W x 17.3H for the 86 model and 122.5L x 5.5W x 16H for the 106 model.
- Install the blade outer box using the provided dimensions: 102L x 18.5W x 19.3H for the 86 model and 127L x 18.5W x 18H for the 106 model.
- Connect the DC motor to the power supply, ensuring proper wiring and connection.
- Install the down rod with a diameter of 60mm, including the wire harness. Use either the white or black downrod depending on your preference (DC2470 or DC2471 for a 91cm downrod, or DC2477 or DC2478 for a 180cm downrod).
- Optionally, install the 240V DC Wall Controller (DCWC240), Smart WiFi Module (WIFIM099), or Pixie HPI Ceiling Fan Module (PIXIEM098) if desired.
- Choose the desired variation of the fan from the product range options listed above.
- Use the included remote controller to adjust the fan speed, choosing from Speed 1 to Speed 9. The RPMs and Watts for each speed are provided in the user manual for reference.
