• Our App only supports 2.4 GHz WI-Fl networks, IEEE 802.11 bifgefn (for configuration both Smart Wi-Fi plug and mobile phone need to be connected to the same Wi-FI network).

Plug Description

Light indicator

• Red light. Plug is ON
• Light off: Plug is OFF
• Greenlight rapidly blinking: Pairing mode
• Greenlight slowly blinking: AP mode

Part 1: Download and Registration

(if you have got already the HomCloud App on your mobile and an Homcloud Account go to Part 2 – Plug Configuration).
a. Download HomCloud App from App Store or Google Play or scan OR code below.
b. Enter the register/login interface and register with your country area code and phone number/email address.
c. Wait a few minutes for the verification code (by email or text message) and enter it where required along with a password (between 6 and 20 numbers and letters)

Part 2: Plug configuration

a. Connect your mobile device to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Network and launch HomCloud App.
b. Plug-in Smart Wi-Fi Plug into any outlet and switch it on.
c. Press and hold On/Off button for 5 seconds until the light indicator rapidly blinks.
d. On the HomCloud homepage tap “add device” or the icon “+”. After that tap “Smart plug” on the Wi-Fi smart devices list.
e. Tap “Confirm indicator rapidly blinks”.
f. Insert or confirm Wi-Fi network name and password.
g. Wait for configuration successfully then tap tone°.
h. Rename Smart Plug and choose room name if you wish to.Please visit www.homcloud.com/config for more info regarding the functions of the Wi-Fi Smart Plug.

Part 3: Integration with Google Home and Amazon Alexa

Download and install Google Home or Amazon Alexa App for mobile and control your devices with your voice with Smart Speakers* or directly with your smartphone.
Important: If you want to link HomCloud App to Google Home or Alexa App you need to select the ‘Smart Life’ App between the list of Google Home or Alexa partners. (after that passage the user will be automatically directed to HomCloud App).

FAQ

1. What should I do if I can’t configure the smart plug? Make sure your mobile and smart plug are on the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
2. Which device can I control with the smart plug? You can control lights, fans, humidifiers, portable heaters, coffee makers,s and any small appliances in accordance with the smart plug’s parameters.
3. What happens if the Wi-Fi goes off? You can still control the smart plug manually with the on/off button and once Wi-Fi is active again smart plug will connect automatically to your Wi-Fi network.
