Product Information

The product is a furniture piece designed to house hi-fi equipment. It comes with various accessories such as wooden shelves, leather accessories, vinyl brackets, and pads.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Positioning: The furniture can be placed either vertically or horizontally. Position 1 is vertical, and position 2 is horizontal.

If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician to replace the obsolete outlet. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the appliance.

WARNING
After installing your audio products on the cabinet, to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the units to rain or moisture. The unit should be installed so that it can be removed from the main supply from the socket (or via a suitable connector on the rear of the unit). If the socket is used as a disconnecting device, then it must remain ready and easy to use. Use only the power cords supplied with the unit. We recommend that you do not place the unit in a confined space. Do not place the unit on a carpet, and do not block the amplifier’s air vents or heat sink. The unit should not be used near water or exposed to dripping, splashing, or other liquids. No objects filled with water, such as vases, should be placed on the unit.

RESPONSIBILITY

The installation of the unit and its wooden shelves is a very important step for the proper use of the product. The end user must read the instructions carefully in the section on installation and use before assembling it or ask a brand representative if he has any questions. CCLAB La Boite concept and its dealers cannot be held responsible if the product falls down due to an installation that does not follow the assembly steps as detailed in the product instructions.
The furniture is designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards. If your furniture has a defect, La Boite Concept or an authorized retailer will repair it within the limits of this warranty. The guarantee is for 2 years from the date of purchase from an authorized dealer. AERATION / IMPORTANT
Electronic units placed on the furniture may become hot during use. Do not place the equipment in a completely enclosed room or in a rack without sufficient ventilation.

LOCATION
As the unit is designed to house your hi-fi equipment, choose a place to install your equipment with care. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near a heat source. No source of fire should be placed on the furniture. Also avoid all sources that could cause dust, coolness or humidity. The furniture must be placed on a stable floor.#

OVERLOADING

When installing your audio equipment on the cabinet, avoid overloading wall- mounted electrical equipment or extension cords, as this may cause a fire or electric shock hazard. Overloaded DC installations, extension cords, damaged power cords, damaged or cracked insulation, and broken plugs are hazards. This could cause a shock or fire. Make sure that each cable is correctly inserted. To avoid humming or background noise, do not mix interconnects with the power cord or RCA cables.

CLEANING
To clean the unit, wipe with a lint-free, slightly damp cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners containing alcohol, ammonia or abrasives. Do not use spray on or near the unit if electronic devices are placed on it.

REPAIRS
These units are not user serviceable, do not attempt to repair, disassemble, or even assemble the unit if a problem occurs. If you have a problem, please contact your dealer.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any problems caused by unauthorized modifications to this unit.

LIMITED WARRANTY

This product was designed and manufactured in accordance with the most rigorous quality standards. However, in case of a problem, La Boite Concept, and their national distributors, guarantee labor (exclusions possible) and spare parts free in all countries served by a La Boite Concept-approved distributor. This limited warranty is valid for a two years / twenty-four (24) month period from the date of purchase unless exclusions are applicable in some countries according to the national legislation. 1. The warranty is limited to the repair of the equipment. Transport or other costs, and risks associated with the pickup, transport, and installation of the products are not covered by this warranty. The warranty is exclusively reserved for the original owner and may not be transferred. During the 2-year limited warranty period, please preserve cartons boxes, and protective foams.

3. This warranty is an addition to any national/regional legal obligation on behalf of the national distributors or dealers and does not affect your statutory rights as a customer.

HOW TO FILE A CLAIM UNDER THE WARRANTY
Please follow the procedure below if you desire to file a claim under the warranty :

1. If the equipment is used in the country where it was purchased, please contact the distributor approved by La Boite Concept which sold the equipment.
2. If the equipment is used in a country other than the country where it was purchased, please contact the national La Boite concept distributor of the residence country, which indicates to you where you can have the equipment repaired.
3. If you desire to file a claim from France, please contact La Boite Concept in France at laboiteconcept.com to obtain an accurate telephone/email address of your local distributor. To validate, your warranty, you should present the original copy of your sales invoice or another form of proof of your purchase and the date of purchase.

LINES GENERAL OVERVIEW

INSTALLATION
Keep in mind that the furniture is a fragile product. Keep the original packaging in case you need to return the furniture, as the limited warranty does not cover shipping damage. The 30-day return policy only covers products that are returned in their original packaging.
The box must contain the following components:

• A metal structure
• A metal bar
• Eight wooden shelves
• Four metal cleats
• Four pads
• Ten cable holders
• Three leather accessories (if the accessories option was purchased)

1. Once all the elements have been removed from their packaging, position the metal frame as shown below. You can choose to position the furniture vertically (position 1) or horizontally (position 2).
2. Clip the four pads at the bottom of the cabinet as shown below.
3. Place the wooden shelves on the structure. Here is an example of how to position the shelves.
4. Attach the central metal bar. To do this, position the holes in the metal plate opposite the inserts as shown below. Then screw in the four screws to secure the bar.
5. Insert the cleats on the shelves with slots.
6. If you have taken the option of leather accessories, position them on the furniture.
7. If you have more than one piece of furniture, you can join them using the accessories provided, as shown below.
8. Once your furniture is in place, place your products on it. For example, you can place a PR01 and a SQUARE turntable that fit perfectly into your furniture.
9. Plug in your appliances. In order to make the cables less visible, make them follow the metal wires of the furniture, as in the example below. Secure them with the leather cable holders provided.

GOOD TO KNOW SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When installing your audio equipment on the cabinet, the power supply is not the same in all countries. Before connecting your transformer to the power outlet, check that the voltage in your area matches the voltage indicated on the label of your transformer. The transformer is used to connect and disconnect your appliance from the mains. Make sure it is always easily accessible. Never touch your appliances or their transformers with wet or damp hands. Do not allow any liquid to enter your equipment or its transformers. Do not place any object containing liquid, such as a vase, near the appliance. Never place a candle near your appliances. Your appliances should not be used in or near any wet or damp area, near a bathtub, washbowl, swimming pool or other similar location. Keep plastic bags away from children to prevent suffocation.

INCORRECT USE
The furniture is manufactured to the highest standards and is subject to strict quality controls before leaving the factory. Problems that may occur are not necessarily material or manufacturing faults, but can sometimes be caused by incorrect use or an «unfortunate combination of circumstances».

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Your furniture requires little or no regular maintenance. Remove dust with a slightly dampened antistatic cloth. Never use a dry cloth as this creates static electricity which attracts even more dust! Antistatic cleaning fluids are available from specialist shops.

SERVICES
If you encounter a problem that has not been addressed above, please consult your dealer for further advice. The appliance can only be returned to the distributor in your country if the problem cannot be solved by your dealer. Never return a piece of furniture unless you are sure that it is correctly placed in its original packaging. The guarantee will only apply if the furniture is returned properly packed.
