FAQ
If the application does not accept commands and shows information that the watch is not on line. ( OFF-LINE)
- Check if the SIM card is correctly installed in the watch, if the card supports 4G internet and that if an internet data package is available. If the coverage columns are still crossed out go to the next step.
- Check if the GSM signal is correct – that the coverage columns are available/visible on the display. – – If they are crossed out, please turn the watch off and switch the watch on. If the coverage columns are still crossed out go to the next step.
- Check if the data transfer arrows appear, if not, please set the APN (Acces Point Name – specific packet network). To do so please send an sms to the watch number with the content pw,123456,apn,YYY…XXXXX#
-
the character XXXXX indicates digits assigned to a specific operator
- 26003 – ORANGE
- 26001 – PLUS
- 26006-PLAY
- 26002 – T-MOBILE
other digits of the codes are available on www.mcc-mnc.com
-
the YVY sign means the name of the APN from a particular operator internetipv6. or internet – ORANGE
- plus – PLUS
- INTERNET – PLAY
- internet – T-MOBILE
other APN names are available on operators’ websites or at their info lines An
example of correct sms for Play network has the form pw,123456,apn, INTERNET,
26006# After sending the message you should wait several minutes until
KidsWatch downloads the settings from the network. The data transfer arrows
should appear. If the coverage columns are still crossed out go to the next
step.
Check the watch parameters according to the instructions below and compare the
data received in the SMS with the data of the watch (specially watch paper
lebel with IMEl number). Send an sms from your phone pw,123456,ts# to the
number of the SIM card inserted in the watch. In reply the watch will send you
the watch parameters. Example:
- ver:G36WS_YDE_V1.1_2019.12.19_09.45.40;
- ID: 1234567890;
- imei:123456789012345;
- ip_url:52.28.132.157;
- port:8001;
- upload:6005;
- bat level:96;
- language:1;
- zone:8.00;
- ec:O;
- NET:OK(73);
If the ID/IMEl/REG CODE number differs from the number on the badge pinned to
the watch or the bottom of the packaging, a new IMEl number must be set. To do
this, send a text message from your phone to the card number of the watch:
pw,123456,imei, xxxxxxxxxxxxx# where X are the digits of the badge – the watch
will reply with the correct IMEI number, for
example:pw,123456,imei,359614514986574#
If the IP_URL and PORT is different than in the example above, send an SMS
from your phone to the SIM card number installed in the watch with the text
ow. 123456,p. 52.28.132.157,8001# the watch will send back an SMS in reply
with the contents (surl,52.28132.157,port,8001#] ok! The line from GPRS/NET
should contain „OK.” If it is „NO” the watch is not connected to the network.
Please follow 9.1 The value in brackets shows the signal strength.
NOTE: please pay attention to punctuation marks and spaces when writing text messa- ges. This is very important as failure to use the characters correctly will result in com- mands being misinterpreted by the watch and will go unanswered. You cannot call the watch. The signal is busy or the subscriber does not answer
Reason: The watch does not recognise the incoming number or ,,do not disturb” mode is set in the app.
Solution:
- Check that the number you are calling from is not restricted.
- Check that contact numbers are set in the app.
The watch only receives calls from numbers previously set in the app’s contacts.
The watch does not show the current time and date
Reason: The watch has not connected to the app server to update the time.
Solution:
-
If the watch shows a few hours back, check and select the correct time zone via the app.
-
If the above does not help, send from your phone (to the SIM card number installed in the watch)
SMS: pw,123456,ntpservers,121.40.88.40,8089#
In response, the watch should send an SMS with a similar content of nOK”. After this action, restart the watch. -
In addition, you can send a configuration SMS to the SIM number of the watch with the following contents: pw,123456,time,hour.minute.second,date,year.month.day# – for example, stating the current time and date: pw,123456,time,09.50.00,date,2023.06.01#
