Connecting Column Speaker to a Subwoofer
The CP-C6 and CP-C12 Columns have connectors at each end (1) and (2) to allow easy expansion and building of your PA system. Turn the lever to release the protective cover from the [opt]) of the column. The protective cover on the bottom (2) simply slides off, as does the protective cover on the subwoofer. Rotate the column speaker so that the connection with the lever (1) is facing the subwoofer. Slide in from the front at an angle so that the front connects and then push the column to a vertical position, it will click in to place and lock. Turn the lever again to release the column speaker. Turn the lever to release the protective cover from the top (1) of the column speaker. Rotate the column speaker so that the connection with the lever (1) is facing downwards. Slide in from the front at an angle so that the fronts of the two column speakers connect and then push the column to a vertical position, it will click in to place on top of the existing column speaker and lock. Turn the lever again to release the column speaker.
Connect Using the Speaker
Remove the protective cover from the bottom 12) of the column speaker. Remove the protective cover from the subwoofer. Insert the CP-P6 pole in to the subwoofer using the threaded end, turn in a clockwise direction to screw it in and secure the pole. Slide the column speaker on to the top of the pole. Use a two-pole speakon cable to connect the subwoofer to the column speaker.
Flying a Column Speaker
Turn the lever to release the protective cover from the top (1) of the column speaker. Remove the two M6 screws (3) from the column speaker using an allen key. Connect the CP-ADAPTOR truss adaptor to the column speaker by opening the adaptor, placing it over the two M6 holes and using an allen key to screw in the two supplied screws.
