Receiver Overview

FRONT PANEL

  1. IR Port
    Sends infrared signal to the transmitter for synchronization.

  2. LCD Display
    LCD shows Group, Channel, Frequency, Antenna status, AF/RF level and IR set (see page 10 for more detail).

  3. Volume Button
    Adjusts the output volume level sent from XLR jack connectors.

  4. Set Button
    Toggle type button to set and adjust Group, Channel, Frequency, and IR Sync.

  5. Power Switch
    Press to turn the receiver on. Long press to turn off.
    REAR PANEL

  6. Power Supply Input
    For connection to power supply (use supplied only).

  7. 6.35mm (1/4″) Unbalanced Jack Output
    For connection to unbalanced input e.g. of mixer or amplifier.

  8. Balanced XLR Output
    For connection to a balanced input e.g., mixer, amplifier.

  9. BNC Antenna Sockets X2
    To connect the supplied antennas.

Transmitter Overview

HANDHELD MICROPHONE

  1. Backlit LCD Display
    Display of Group, Channel and Battery Life (see page 11 for more detail).

  2. IR Infrared Port
    Receiver infrared beam to synchronize frequencies. Hold the transmitter with its IR port facing directly to the receiver’s IR port at a distance of 5-20cm.
    Note. When using multiple systems only one transmitter IR port should be exposed at a time.

  3. ON/OFF and Mute switch
    Push to the top position to turn the microphone on, then press to the mid position to mute the microphone (power remains on). Push to the bottom position to turn the microphone off.

  4. Antenna
    For sending and receiving of signal.

  5. Battery Compartment
    To replace the 1.5V AA batteries, unscrew the bottom part of the transmitter anti-clockwise and make sure they are in the correct polar directions.

BELTPACK

  1. Antenna
    Should be fully extended during normal operations.

  2. Power Switch
    Tap to turn on, and long press (2 sec) to turn off.

  3. Volume Control
    Control of microphone/headset volume. Clockwise to increase, anti­clockwise to decrease.

  4. 3-pin mini XLR Input
    3-pin mini XLR input for the connection of the supplied microphone/headset.

  5. Backlit LCD
    Displays Frequency and Battery life. If the battery symbol flashes, this indicates the batteries need replacing.

  6. IR Infrared Port
    Receiver infrared beam to synchronize frequencies. Hold the transmitter with its IR port facing directly to the receiver’s IR port at a distance of 5-20cm. Note. When using multiple systems only one transmitter IR port should be exposed at a time.

  7. Up Button
    Adjusts the frequency incrementally up.

  8. Set Button
    Use to set and store frequency.

  9. Down Button
    Adjusts the frequency incrementally down.

  10. Battery Compartment
    To replace the 1.5V AA batteries slightly press the marked positions on the left and right side of the cover and open forward. Make sure to put the batteries in the correct polar directions.

  11. Belt Clip
    Clip to a belt or guitar strap.

RECEIVER SET UP

RECEIVER

  1. Connect the included power supply to the rear of the receiver and turn on
  2. Display
    The standard display shows the pre-selected group and channel

RF POWER LEVEL
Changing the RF power will increase/decrease the maximum operating range of your device. After the setup of the channel, press the SET again the display will show “P0.4” and the number “4” will flash. Turn left/right the set button to adjust the power RF level (1-4). After setting the power level, sync the transmitter via IR with the receiver.

Note : The stronger the RF power, the larger the wireless range.

GROUP

  • Group refers to a set of radios assigned to a common channel for communication. The group allows multiple units to participate in the same conversation.
  • Push the SET button, the Group will flash. Turn left/right to adjust the desired group (01-03). The display will stop flashing after a short period of non-activity automatically.

Note : Each group consists of 5 channels each corresponding to a specific frequency.

CHANNEL
Each channel has a unique frequency, and multiple wireless microphone systems can use different channels to avoid interference with each other. After the set-up of the group press the SET again, and The Channel will blink. Turn left/right the SET button to adjust the desired channel (01-05). The display will return to standard after a short period of non-activity automatically.

IRSYNC
This syncs transmission and reception via an infrared signal. Push the SET button and hold for 1 second. The receiver will start to send the infrared signal. Put the transmitter(handheld/bodypack)’s IR port close to the receiver’s IR port. These must be synchronized to the same frequency (Group, Channel) before use.

Note: After successful sync, the display RF signal and ANT show on the display.

TRANSMITTER (MICROPHONE/BELT PACK) SET UP

RF POWER LEVEL
Changing the RF power will increase/decrease the maximum operating range of your device.

  • Setting up the channel, press the SET button again, the display will show POL and the number will blink.
  • Press the UP/DOWN button to adjust the RF Level (1-2). Note: The stronger the RF power, the longer the distance.

GROUP
This number must correspond correctly to the group on the receiver.

  • Push the SET button, the Group number will blink.
  • Press up/down to adjust the desired group (01-03).

Note : Each group consists of 5 channels, each corresponding to a specific frequency.

CHANNEL
This number must correspond correctly to the channel on the receiver.

  • After setting up the Group press SET again, the CHANNEL will flash, and press the up/down button to adjust to the desired channel (01-05).

WARNING!

  • Used batteries must be disposed of in compliance with whatever regulations for their safe disposal that may be observed in the region in which you live.
  • Batteries must not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
  • The a danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
