ANVIL-1 Tree Pruner
Operation
- SETTING THE CUTTING ANGLE
NOTE: Please ensure that the rotating disk is in the locked D posijion before starting work.
- Turn the rotating disk clockwise to the unlocked position.
- Choose one of the eleven available cutting angles.
- Turn the rotating disk counter-clockwise to the locked position.
USING THE PRUNER
NOTE: Do not cut branches with diameters greater than 1-1/4 in.
- Position the pruner so the branch is between the pruner blades.
- Pull the middle grip downward to cut branches that are lower and closer to you.
- Pull the end grip downward to cut branches that are higher and farther away from you.
Safety Information
- Keep children out of the work area.
- Do not stand directly under the branch being cut.
- Wear safety goggles, boots, and helmet for protection from falling branches.
- Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
- Keep the product out of the reach of children.
- Do not use the product if it is damaged or if any parts are loose.
- Store the product out of the reach of children.
WARNING
- When using the pruner, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury.
- Keep sharp blades away from fingers and body. Contact with the blades can result in serious personal injury.
- Do not use the product near high voltage lines or power cords.
Care and Cleaning
- Carefully clean and lubricate the blades after each use.
- Store the pruner in a dry location.
