Product Information
The Sterlina IITM is a glazed porcelain tile that beautifully combines the timeless look of marble with the urban touch of concrete. It is available in both matte and polished finishes and comes in seven different colorways to achieve any desired look. The Sterlina IITM series offers a range of sizes, including 24×24, 24×47, 12×24, 8×10, 12×12 mesh, and 3×12 floor SBN. The thickness of the tiles varies between 8.8mm and 10mm depending on the size. The Sterlina IITM series is designed for residential indoor use and offers excellent abrasion resistance, breaking strength, and chemical resistance. The water absorption rate is 0.55 for matte tiles and it has a scratch hardness rating of 7 on the MOHS scale. The shade variation rating ensures a consistent and uniform appearance across the tiles.
Product Usage Instructions
- Select the desired color and finish (matte or polished) of the Sterlina IITM tiles.
- Measure the area where the tiles will be installed and determine the quantity needed.
- Prepare the surface by ensuring it is clean, dry, and level.
- If necessary, apply a suitable primer or underlayment to the surface before tiling.
- Start laying the tiles from one corner of the room, working towards the opposite side.
- Apply a thin layer of tile adhesive or mortar to the surface using a trowel.
- Place each tile onto the adhesive, pressing firmly to ensure good adhesion.
- Use tile spacers to maintain consistent grout joints.
- Continue laying the tiles, ensuring they are properly aligned and leveled.
- Allow the adhesive to dry according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Once the tiles are securely in place, apply grout to the joints using a grout float.
- Remove any excess grout from the tile surface using a damp sponge.
- Allow the grout to cure as per the manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Clean and maintain the Sterlina IITM tiles regularly according to the manufacturer’s instructions to preserve their appearance and longevity.
Please note that for running bond/brick joint patterns with tiles larger than
18 inches, the running bond offset should not exceed 33% unless specified by
the tile manufacturer, specifier, and owner approval.Henna

exact match with other sizes. All other sizes are part of the Sterlina II™
Series.

Section 4.3.8.2 – For running bond/brick joing patterns utilizing tiles
(square or rectangular) where the side being offset is greater than 18”
(nominal dimension), the running bond offset will be a maximum of 33% unless
otherwise specified by the tile manufacturer. If an offset greater than 33%
is specified, specifier and owner must approve mock-up and lippage.
