ASSEMBLY
- The sprockets are preassembled and aligned with the alignment insert (A – Fig. 1).
- Move the sprockets up against the FW body, remove the short tabs to see the splined profiles. align the splined profiles and push the sprockets onto the FW body (Fig. 2) making the longer tabs exit the sprockets. • Install the 3 smallest sprockets 12s and the locknut.
- The locknut G has a washer (H): make sure it is present as shown in Fig. 3.
- In the case of assembly without the alignment insert, insert the sprockets, loose or preassembled. and the spacers on the freewheel body, making the profile of both splines coincide (Fig. 4). The profile of the FW body with two asymmetrical splines (Fig. 4) makes sprocket alignment automatic since there’s only one way to fit them.
Note
- Pay attention to the exact assembly order of the spacers (Fig. 5).
- Using a torque wrench (D – Fig. 6) equipped with Campagnolo’ tool UT-BB080 (B – Fig. 6), tighten the lockring (G – Fig. 6), which is provided with the Campagnolo sprockets, on to the freewheel body to 40 Nm (354 in-lbs).

The duration of the components is variable based on the conditions of use, frequency and quality of maintenance. For proper component maintenance, it is necessary to frequently perform the cleaning and lubrication operations. especially under conditions of heavy use (e.g. each time after washing the bicycle, after use in wet conditions, on dusty or muddy roads etc.).
-
Dirt seriously damages the bicycle and its components. Wash, clean and dry your bicycle carefully after use.

-
Relubricate the components carefully using a lubricant suitable to purpose.
WARNING!
Using poorvquality or incorrect lubricant may damage the chain and cause
excessive wear or damage to the system. A damaged drive system can
malfunction. resulting in an accident. personal injury or death.
- After application, turn the hand cranks using all the possible gear combinations in order to properly lubricate the entire drivetrain.

Lubricant residues on the rims. brake shoes. discs and brake pads can
decrease or nullify your bicycle’s braking capacity. and can lead to
accidents. physical injuries. or even death.
