Display and operating elements
- Display minutes
- Display seconds
- Button minutes
- Button seconds
- Start/Stop button
3+4 Reset timer at the same time
First use
-
Insert battery and close battery compartment
-
The display first shows 88M88S (display test) and then 00M00S, while the acoustic signal is heard very briefly.
-
The desired target time between 00M00S and 99M59S can be preset with the two buttons “MIN” and “SEC”. If the “MIN” or “SEC” button is pressed only briefly during setting, it only switches upwards by one minute or second. However, if the
“MIN” or “SEC” button is pressed and held down for more than two seconds, the timer counts up until the respective button is released again. -
In the preset mode, the counter can only count down until 00M00S is reached. During counting, the two letters “M” and “S” flash.
-
The timer is always started by pressing the “START/STOP” button once. If it is pressed again while counting down, the timer stops until it is restarted by pressing the “START/STOP” button again.
-
When the time 00M00S is reached, an acoustic signal sounds which can be temporarily switched off either with one of the two buttons “MIN” or “SEC” or with the button “START”. If one of the two buttons “MIN” or “SEC” is pressed, the acoustic signal is switched off and the timer display continues to show 00M00S. However, if the “Start” button is pressed instead, the acoustic signal is also temporarily switched off, but the display now shows the target time preset under point 3 again, so that the timer can be started again by pressing the “START/STOP” button again to count down the previously set target time.
-
The timer can be reset to 00M00S at any time by pressing the “MIN” and “SEC” buttons simultaneously.
-
However, if the “START” button is pressed instead of “MIN” or “SEC” after switching on or resetting the timer, the timer canonly count upwards. Each time the “START” button is pressed again, the timer can be paused at any time and restarted for continuing the counting. In upward mode, it is only possible to start at 00M00S and there is no presettable time or acoustic signal.
