My SteamReady Steam Mop is leaving too much water | Support

  • Do not squeeze trigger down too long

    • Avoid depressing trigger continuously for more than 20 seconds

    • The steam mop should remain moving while turned on

    • Allowing machine to sit in the same spot for too long builds up steam

    • Inspect the water tank and cap for cracks or damage

      • If damaged, a new tank needs to be ordered
    • Fill tank with water

    • Test the x-valve by pushing on it over the sink

      • Water should release
      • If not, a new cap assembly needs to be ordered
    • Verify the rubber gasket at the tip of the cap is still attached

    • Look in the tank receiver for any cracks or damage

    • Correctly seat water tank there are no gaps between the tank and machine

      • If the machine is still leaving too much water on the floor after troubleshooting, Contact Us
