Trisa 1313 Battery Hair Straightener
Product Information
This product is a hair straightener with flexible heating plates. It has a locking mechanism and a USB-C port. The heating plates are made of ceramic and glide smoothly through the hair. The heat emission is evenly distributed, providing special care for the hair. The sprung heater prevents hair from getting tangled.
Product Usage Instructions
- Make sure the hair straightener is plugged into a power source.
- Wait for the display to start flashing, indicating that the device is heating up.
- Wait for the audible signal to indicate that the desired temperature has been reached.
- Ensure that your hair is dry before using the hair straightener.
- Take a small section of hair and place it between the heating plates.
- Gently squeeze the hair straightener and glide it down the length of the hair, from root to tip.
- Repeat the process for each section of hair until you have achieved the desired straightness.
- After use, unplug the hair straightener and allow it to cool down before storing it.
- Clean the heating plates with a soft cloth or brush to remove any residue.
Note:
Caution should be taken to avoid burning yourself as the heating plates can
become hot. Always follow the safety instructions provided in the user manual.
Safety instructions
- Mains connection: The voltage must comply with that shown on the appliance label.
- Never pull on the mains cable / with damp hands. Disconnect the mains plug in case of faults during use, prior to cleaning, relocation, or after use. The plug must be within reach at all times.
- Regularly check if the power cable/appliance/extension lead is defective. Never switch on damaged appliances (incl. mains lead) have repairs carried out / obtain a replacement from the manufacturer, the manufacturer’s service point or from qualified experts. Never open the appliance yourself – the risk of injury!
- Never carry or pull the appliance by the flex. Don’t pull the flex over sharp edges. Don’t wedge it. Don’t bend it. A short circuit can occur if the cable breaks.
- Switch the appliance off and pull the plug out of the mains when it is not in use. Don’t wind the flex around the appliance.
- Never immerse the appliance in water / other fluids. The danger of short-circuiting!
- Do not use this appliance near the water (bathtubs, washbasins, etc.) nor expose it to rain or other humidity. Ensure hands are dry when using the appliance!
- Should however the appliance fall into the water, only take it out after pulling the plug. Do not use the appliance anymore. It has to be checked by an authorized service department first.
- Children aged 8 years or over and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, lack of experience or knowledge may only use the appliance if they are supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or if they have been shown how to use the appliance safely and they have understood the risks inherent in its use. Cleaning and maintenance tasks may not be carried out by children without supervision.
- Children should not be allowed to play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its power cable out of reach of children aged under 8. Never leave the appliance unattended while in operation.
- Keep packaging (e.g. plastic bags) away from children.
- Never place the appliance/cable on hot surfaces or near open flames. Do not store/expose the appliance to intense heat (from radiators, or prolonged sunshine).
- Do not use attachments not recommended/sold by the manufacturer.
- The appliance is designed for household use and not for industrial operation. Do not operate the appliance outdoors.
- Allow the appliance to cool before storing away.
- Only trained experts should repair electrical appliances. Unskilled repairs can cause considerable danger to the user.
- No warranty for any damage can be accepted if the appliance is used for improper purpose, wrongly operated or unprofessionally repaired. In such a case, any warranty claim is void.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated or connected to an external timer or separate remote control switch.
- Never place fingers or objects into appliance openings. Do not cover appliance opening.
- Never place appliances on soft cushions/pillows or blankets during operation.
- The appliance becomes hot. Caution: danger of burning yourself!
Disposal
- Make worn-out appliances unusable. Pull out the mains plug and sever the cord.
- Electric appliances are to be returned to a shop of sale or handed over to an official dump.
- No household waste. Must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Appliance Description
Advice
- Frequent smoothing of perm-waved hair is inadvisable.
- Fine hair will respond especially quickly to treatment.
- The appliance is suitable for short and long hair.
- Do not use appliances with hairspray/chemical-based hair-care products.
- Massage straightening protector (available from specialist retailers) into hair before use.
Heaters
- Heaters become hot. Caution: danger of burning yourself!
- The ceramic heaters glide effortlessly through your hair.
- Evenly distributed heat emission takes special care of your hair.
- The sprung heater allows hair to always glide freely.

The power symbol blinks. Fully charge the straightener.
Smoothing your hair

Hair must be clean and dry.

Never remain longer than 2 seconds in the same section of your hair, after smoothing hair, allow to cool properly.

Fix in hair strands / pull through

To curl your hair, turn device as you pull it through your hair.
After use
Switch off
Allow to cool properly
Turn on and unlock the appliance. Adjust the temperature (160 – 220 °C).
The display flashes until the temperature is reached. Wait for the signal tone.
When the battery level is getting low, the charging symbol starts blinking.
Cleaning
Always unplug the power plug prior to cleaning and allow the appliance to cool.
- Can be wiped with a damp cloth, then dried. Do not use scourers or solvents.
Warranty information
With this appliance, you get a 5-year guarantee starting from the date of purchase. Under the guarantee, in the case of material or manufacturing defects, the appliance will be replaced or repaired. Replacement with a new appliance or a money-back return is not possible. Excluded from the guarantee is normal wear and tare, commercial use, alterations to the appliance as purchased, cleaning activities, consequences of improper use or damage by the purchaser or a third person, and damage, that can be attributed to external circumstances or caused by the batteries. The guarantee requires that the faulty appliance be returned at the purchaser’s expense along with the retail outlets dated and signed guarantee card or a sales receipt.
