USER MANUAL
MODEL :S30
QUICK GUIDE FOR S30
STEP1.
When you first get the camera, please charge the camera for 10 hours by 2A/5V
or 12 hours by 1A/5V adaptor, there is no charge status LED showing on the
camera. You can only check the battery status from the UBOX APP after you
finish the subsequent set up process.
STEP2.
Download UBOX APP from APP store or Google play.

STEP3.
Register an account in UBOX app.
a. Open the app and register your account with your Email address and it is
recommended to verify your account from email so that you can retrieve
password of your UBOX account in case.
b. Set a password for your account and make note to remember it
c. Click Allow or Agree on all access when you set up your account and camera.
d. Finish the register process according to the voice prompt or User manual
booklet.
NOTE:
The required fields are country and state on Add address page which locate
your correct region server for a proper notifications and full functions of
your camera.
STEP4.
Please check and make sure your phone connected well your router 2.4G Wi-Fi
firstly.
Note:
a. Please let your phone to forget your 5G Wi-Fi password to avoid phone pick
up your 5g Wi-Fi as priority automatically.
b. Please make sure your router Wi-Fi password correct and camera, phone,
router are in the same Wi-Fi connection.
STEP5.
Please turn on your camera and you will hear the voice prompt “The camera is
now ready to begin pairing” and Camera Blue LED blinks the same time, which
means the camera is ready and waiting for pair up.
STEP6.
Pair up your camera according to the user manual. Use camera to scan the QR
code which generated by the app on your phone.
STEP7.
When you get into the Connect to Wi-Fi page, if your phone connected well with
your router 2.4g Wi-Fi as Step 4 stated, your Wi-Fi name should pop-up
automatically here.
Otherwise, you’ll need to recheck your router Wi-Fi connection again.
If you Wi-Fi name didn’t pop-up automatically, please check below and tick the
location permission from your phone setting for UBOX APP.
TROUBLE SHOOTING FOR PAIR UP:

lf the camera LED doesn’t blink blue, which means the camera is not in ready to pair condition.
1.1 Please power on the camera and hold on the reset button for 4-5 seconds and release it when you hear “system reset” to reset your camera to default. -
When your camera always blinks and won’t go into next step ,which means your camera didn’t pick up your QR code information or didn’t pick up your Wi-Fi correctly
2.1 Please make sure your phone is connected with your 2.4G Wi-Fi.
2.2 Please let your phone to forget your 5G Wi-Fi connection from your Phone Wi-Fi list.
2.3 Please try to avoid your phone screen too light or too dark so that camera can read the QR code clearly without reflecting light.
2.4 Put your phone, camera and router within 1.5ft to get a strong Wi-Fi signal strength.
2.5 lf you use sound wave pair up, please make sure your phone volume is turned up and your router lD + password no more than 32 digits. -
Pair up failed after you got 100% process finished or Camera LED stays blue or red, which means your camera can not recognize or timeout to obtain your router lP.
3.1 Put your phone, camera and router within 1.5ft to get a strong Wi-Fi signal strength.
3.2 Please enable your router SSID and DHCP function so that your router can send out Wi-Fi signal and allocate dynamic lP address to avoid conflict with your other wireless devices for one static IP address.
3.3 Reboot your router to reallocate your lP address and refresh your network.4) Reset the camera and change to sound wave pair up method for a try.
4. Camera always prompt up with” incorrect password”
4.1 You may switch upper case to input your special character wrongly.
4.2 Recommend you to change a Wi-Fi password for your router with 8-12 digits(numbers+ letters)without special character to avoid input errors.
LED indicators trouble shooting:
Camera LED blinks blue: Camera is ready for pairing Camera LED stays blue:
Camera paired successfully
Camera LED Blinks red once and stay solid blue: Camera detected motion
Camera NO LED after pairing successfully: Camera is in standby mode
Camera LED stays red: Camera didn’t pick up Wi-Fi correctly
Camera LED always blinks red: Camera hardware defective
MORE TIPS FOR YOUR REFERENCE:
- Micro ds card is an option to store more videos but not a must if you plan to use UBOX cloud service. Install micro sd card only when you power off the camera. Camera doesn’t support plug& play.
- The camera is defaulted as SD(720P) for a smooth transmission, you can click it to change to HD (1080P) for high resolution. Or set HD(1080p) as default from common settings.
DETAILED APP INSTRUCTIONS
Click the “Calendar” icon on the right top corner, then choose the date to
playback the voices from cloud storage.| Choose the desired date to check all
videos from the cloud.

SPECIAL NOTES
- The device is equipped with a rechargeable lithium battery. The battery life will be affected by the device wake-up time and the number of wake-ups. Therefore, the PIR sensor alarm detection function is used in an environment with a Iota of people. It is recommended to tum off or set the device to low sensitivity to reduce device wake-up and call times extend battery life. When the battery is low, please charge the battery immediately.
- Keep the device in range of your router. Make sure the device is placed close to the Wi-Fi router. If there has to be thick or insulated objects between the device and the Wi-Fi router, which may lead to weak Wi-Fi signal, please make sure the Wi-Fi signal is in good level before you start using the device.
- It is a delicate device with low power consumption design. Every time the device is awakened and will work for few seconds After that, the device will enter standby mode to save power. You can set the work time in the app settings.
- Because the mainland China does not receive Google’s system push messages, you need to open the app’s self-starting function in your phone to receive push messages.
- This device provides one month of free cloud storage services. If you need to continue using value-added services after the trial period expires, you need to purchase them in the app.
