- Key or Ratchet with 3/8″ socket
- Determine your type of installation to select the right tools for your dock.
3-STEP ASSEMBLY
ADJUSTABLE BRACKETS
- Install 2 Bolts per Adjustable Bracket (on the 2-hole face) by placing the nuts on the outside and screwing them only partially so that the bolt rods don’t not stick out. Then install the Brackets by sliding the nuts into the rails. Tighten by hand for now.
SUPPORTS AND BUMPERS
- Insert the Bumpers in the support grooves as illustrated.
END CAPS
- Complete the assembly by adding the End Caps at each end of the Bumpers.
- This time, the nuts will be placed inside the angled brackets. Tighten these bolts securely.
DIFFERENT INSTALLATION TYPES
- On Multinautic® aluminum docks equipped with side tracks, install bumpers as suggested in A or B;
- On aluminum docks not compatible with «T» head bolts, follow the B diagram;
- On a wood dock, bumpers should be installed as shown in C.
- While these installation suggestions cover most possibilities, your dock configuration may require a different bolting hardware combination.
- A: Get some “T” head bolts, part #22080 (2/pk). Place the bolt’s head in the track then secure the nut with a 3/4″ ratchet.
- B: Get 1 /4″ x 2 1 /2″ stainless steel lag bolts and drill the aluminum with a 3/16″ drill bit. For the bottom edge, use the included pan head bolts.
- C: Fasten in the side beams with 3 1 /2″, C1 wood screws at an angle of about 10 degrees OR drill with a 3/16″ drill bit and use the 1 /4″ x 2 1 /2″ lag bolts.
