SmartDHOME Motion Sensor with Built In Temperature Sensor
Thank you for choosing the motion sensor with a built-in temperature sensor. Z-Wave certified, the device is compatible with the gateways of the MyVirtuoso Home Home automation system.
Product Information
The Motion sensor with built-in temperature sensor is a Z-Wave-certified device that is compatible with the gateways of the MyVirtuoso Home home automation system. It is designed for indoor use only and is equipped with an integrated temperature sensor and a motion sensor that send a Z-Wave signal when movement is detected within its range. It is important to follow the safety rules and precautions outlined in the user manual to reduce any risk of fire and/or personal injury when using this device.

Before using this device, certain precautions must be taken to reduce any risk of fire and / or personal injury:

Description
This sensor monitors movement and temperature. It sends a Z-Wave signal when
movement is detected within it’s range. It is also able to detect the
temperature thanks to the integrated temperature sensor.
For indoor use only.
Nota: Inclusion button is located on the back cover and you can press it through the use of a spike.

Installation
Open the cover of the device by pressing on the appropriate tab. Then insert a CR123A battery in the appropriate compartment; the LED will start flashing slowly (a sign that the sensor has not yet been included in the network). Close the lid.
Inclusion
Before starting the procedure for including the device in a Z-Wave network,
check that it is turned on, then make sure that the MyVirtuoso Home HUB is in
inclusion mode (refer to the relevant manual available on the website
www.myvirtuosohome.com/downloads).
- Press the pairing button 1 time, the LED should stop flashing, if not, try again.
Attention: In the event that the LED should remain on steadily, after a
successful inclusion, remove and reinsert the battery from the device.
Note: For the operation to be successful, during the inclusion/exclusion
phase, the device must remain within a radius of no more than 1 meter from the
MyVirtuoso Home gateway.
Exclusion
Before starting the procedure for exclusion, the device in a Z-Wave
network, check that it is turned on, then make sure that the MyVirtuoso Home
HUB is in inclusion mode (refer to the relevant manual available on the
website
www.myvirtuosohome.com/downloads).
- Press the button 1 time, the LED should start flashing.
Note: For the operation to be successful, during the inclusion/exclusion phase, the device must remain within a radius of no more than 1 meter from the MyVirtuoso Home gateway.
**Assembly
**
Use the adhesive tape to place the presence sensor at a height of 2 m. To ensure correct operation, it is advisable to position it at an angle that allows the entire room to be seen.
Note: The device will automatically send the temperature value detected only in the event of a variation of the same by at least +/- 1 °C. The gateway will still be able to query the value of the same at any time.
Operating
- Walk in front of the motion sensor, it will send the “ON” status and the alarm report to the MyVirtuoso Home gateway, the LED indicator will flash once and stay in alarm for 3 minutes.
- After detecting a movement, the device will remain in alarm for 3 minutes, after which if it does not detect any movement, it will remain in the OFF state.
- The motion and presence sensor is equipped with a tamper switch, if the cover is removed from the sensor this will send an alarm signal to the MyVirtuoso Home gateway and the LED will become steady.
Disposal
Do not dispose of electrical appliances in mixed urban waste, use separate
collection services. Contact the local council for information about available
collection systems. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or
in inappropriate places, hazardous substances can escape into groundwater and
enter the food chain, damaging health and well-being. When replacing old
appliances with new ones, the retailer is legally obliged to accept the old
appliance for free disposal.
