INSTRUCTION

Switch

  • please ensure your Switch system and Lite SE are updated to the latest version
  • NFC scanning, IR camera, HD rumble, and notification LED are not supported, nor can the system be wakened up wirelessly
  • status LED can indicate up to 8 players

connection

Bluetooth connection

  • turn the mode switch to S
  • press home to turn on the controller, and the LED starts to rotate from left to right
  • press the pair button for 3 seconds to enter its pairing mode. LED stops blinking for a short moment then starts to rotate again.(This is required for the very first time only)
  • go to your Switch Home page to click on “Controllers”, then click on “Change grip/order” and wait for the connection
  • LED becomes solid and the controller vibrates when the connection is successful

wired connection

  • go to System Setting > Controller and Sensors > Turn on Pro Controller Wired Communication
    • turn the mode switch to S
    • connect the controllerto your Switch dock via a USB cable
    • wait till the controller is successfully recognized by your Switch to play

Android

  • please ensure your Android and Lite 2 are updated to the latest version

Bluetooth connection

  • turn the mode switch to D
  • press home to turn on the controller, LED 1 starts to blink
  • press pair button for 3 seconds to enter its pairing mode. LED stops blinking for a short moment then starts to rotate again.(This is required for the very first time only) go to your Android device’s Bluetooth setting, and pair with [8BitDo Lite 2]
  •  LED becomes solid and the controller vibrates when a connection is successful

Wired Connection

  • OTG support is required on your Android device. Please get in touch with your device manufacturer for more details
    • turn the mode switch to D
    • connect the controllerto your Android device via a USB cable
    • wait till the controller is successfully recognized by your Android device to play

Turbo function

  • hold the button you would like to set turbo to, then press the star button to activate/deactivate the function
  • D-Pad, Left stick, Right stick, Home, Select, and Start buttons are not included
  • turbo function is not available on Switch mode

battery

status —LED indicator
low battery: red LED blinks
charging: red LED stays solid
fully charged: red LED turns off

  • About 20 hours of playtime with a 480mAh built-in battery pack, rechargeable with 1 hour charging time
  • The controller will turn off for 1 minute with no connection and 15 minutes with a Bluetooth connection but no use controller stays on with the wired connection
