Product Information

Safety instructions

Warning – Batteries
- When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and – markings) and insert the batteries accordingly. Failure to do so could result in the batteries leaking or exploding.
- Only use batteries (or rechargeable batteries) that match the specified type.
- Before you insert the batteries, clean the battery contacts and the polarity contacts.
- Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.
- Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different types or from different manufacturers.
- Remove the batteries from products that are not being used for an extended period (unless these are being kept ready for an emergency).
- Do not short-circuit batteries.
- Do not charge batteries.
- Do not burn batteries.

Start-up and operation
- Open the battery compartment cover, insert 2 AA Mignon batteries observing the correct polarity and then close the battery compartment cover again. The clock is ready for operation.
- Setting of the time
- Turn the hour / minutes setting clockwise. To set the seconds, remove the batteries to stop the seconds and reinsert the batteries to restart the second hand at the correct second.
Alarm clock settings
- Turn the setting wheel on the back of the alarm clock in the direction of the arrow to set the desired alarm time. The pointer for the alarm time moves anti-clockwise.
- Move the slider switch to the ON or OFF position to activate / deactivate the alarm.
Note The time is accurate to within a few minutes over the course of a year. If sudden fluctuations occur in the time display, change the batteries.
Installation
You can place the clock on a level surface or alternatively mount it on a wall using the cut-out on the back.

- Before mounting, check that the wall you have chosen is suitable for the weight to be mounted. Also make sure that there are no electric, water, gas or other lines running through the wall at the mounting site.
- Obtain suitable attachment material from specialist retailers.
- Do not mount the product above locations where persons might sit or stand.
