The 4K HDMI Switcher allows you to use three digital HDMI-compatible video SWITCHs with digital playback devices that support HDMI. The switch is specifically designed for use in home cinemas to operate, for example, a Blu- ray player and a satellite receiver at the same time on a playback device with Ultra-HD cinema quality. It is compatible with HDCP 1.4/2.2 and supports resolutions up to 4Kx2K@30/60 Hz Ultra HD Video. The switch can be controlled manually via the button on the device or automatically when switching on or via remote control.

Getting Started and Operation

• Connect the HDMI output of your playback device to the HDMI input of the switcher.
• Connect the HDMI output of the switcher to your playback device.
• If necessary, connect the switcher to a USB power adapter (5 V/300 mA) via the USB port (5) using a micro USB / USB cable.
• Switch between input devices using the SWITCH button on the device or via the remote control.

Warning – Batteries

• When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and -markings) and insert the batteries accordingly. Failure to do so could result in the batteries leaking or exploding.
• Only use batteries (or rechargeable batteries) that match the specified type.
• Before you insert the batteries, clean the battery contacts and the polar contacts.
• Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of a different type or make.
• Remove the batteries from products that are not being used for an extended period (unless these are being kept ready for an emergency).
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• Do not charge batteries.
• Do not throw batteries in a fire.

Warning – Button cells

• Do not ingest battery, risk of burns due to dangerous substances.
• This product contains button cells. If swallowed, the button cell can cause severe internal burns within just two hours and lead to death.
• Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children.
• If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it out of the reach of children.
• If you think that batteries were swallowed or are in a part of the body, seek medical assistance immediately.

Getting started and operation

• Connect the SWITCH devices (e.g. Blu-ray player, receiver, computer, games console) to the HDMI inputs (input 1-3) using HDMI cables (not included in the delivery package). The LED that corresponds to the active input (1) lights up.
• Now connect your output device (e.g. TV, projector, monitor) to the HDMI outputs using HDMI cables (not included in the delivery package).
• Turn on the connected devices. The power LED (2) lights up.
• You can now select all inputs via the remote control.
• It is also possible to select the SWITCH directly on the HDMI switching desk using the SWITCH button (4).

Information about the power supply
In some cases, it may be necessary to provide the HDMI switching desk with additional power via the USB socket (5). To do this, connect a micro USB / USB cable to the USB socket (5) and a free USB port on your TV or a USB power adapter (5 V / 300 mA, not included in the delivery package).

Troubleshooting

• Check to be sure that all devices are switched on.

• Make sure that the TV is set to the correct channel.

• Connect the HDMI switch to the USB power supply.

• In some cases, it may be necessary to provide the HDMI switching desk with additional power via the USB socket (5).

Poor picture, audio inter- ruptions| • Ensure that all cables are correctly connected.

• Try to connect the HDMI SWITCH directly to the output device. If nothing changes, you need to replace the SWITCH device.

• Use a 1.4 HDMI cable

• Your HDMI cable should not exceed a total length of 5 m.

• Switch all devices off and then on again.

Care and Maintenance

Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
