3. First start-up

4. Headset setup

3.1. Connecting the device Connect the base station to a power source using the power adapter included in the package. Correct connection is indicated by an acoustic signal from the base.
3.2 Activating the headset There are two ways to start the headset: a) Press the MFB button for about 1 second. When the device turned on, a sound will play from the headset. b) By placing the headset on the base station socket.
Correct start-up and pairing of the headset with the base will be indicated by an acoustic signal, and the MFB will stop flashing.
3.3 Turning off the headset and the base To turn off the headset, press the MFB for 5 seconds. A sound signal in the headset indicates that it has been turned off. To turn off the base, disconnect the power cable.

4.1 Connecting to a desk phone (see Figure 9 and 10) There are three distinct ways to connect your Prime X3 to a desk phone a) Connecting to a desk phone equipped with a dedicated headset
port. b) Connecting to a deskphone that does not have a dedicated
headset port. c) Optional connection via EHS cable.
Note: Some phones require a different cable with an appropriate plug dedicated to the particular phone model (e.g. Jack 2.5 mm, Jack 3.5 mm, RJ45). In this case you need to buy the right cable (section 10. Accessories). https://axtelworld.com/headsets/compatibility/

3.4 Pairing ­ connecting a new headset to the base Put an enabled headset on an enabled base, then press the Desk phone button . This action is going to begin the process of pairing the headset.

Headset delivered along with the whole set does not require pairing.

• The Prime X3 is not to be connected simultaneously to the headset and handset socket in the desk phone.

a) Connecting to a desk phone equipped with a dedicated headset port. Connect the Prime X3 with a desk phone by plugging in one end of the supplied AXP-XRJ connection cable to the dedicated headset port in the desk phone , and the other one into the desk phone socket in the base. (see Figure 9a)

Receiving calls from a desk phone via Axtel Prime X3 (base station or headset) is possible when the telephone is connected via mechanical hook switch lifter.

b) Connecting to a desk phone that does not have a headset port. Plug the Axtel Prime X3 headset into the desk phone handset port. To do it, unplug the desk phone handset from the desk phone, then plug it into the handset socket in the base. Connect the base station to the desk phone with the provided AXP- XRJ cable ­ one end into the handset socket in the desk phone and the other into the desk phone socket in the base. (see Figure 9b)

Configuration of the phone for proper operation should be done according to the phone manufacturer’s documentation.

4.2 Connecting to a computer (see Figure 11) Connecting and disconnecting the microUSB/USB-A cable is indicated by a sound signal and the Computer pictogram will glow white. Receiving computer calls from the MFB button and from the base is only possible with fully compatible applications/messengers. Check the list of compatible devices at: https://axtelworld.com/headsets/compatibility/

After pressing the Mobile Phone button on the base you will hear the voice message “Connecting Bluetooth®”. Then you should select Axtel Prime X3 from the list of available devices on your mobile phone. Successful pairing is signalled by the Mobile Phone pictogram on the base glowing blue and by the voice message “Bluetooth® connected”. An active Bluetooth® connection is indicated by the Mobile Phone pictogram on the base glowing white.

With other applications/messengers, it is possible to use the headset but answering/ending a call from the base station and the MFB button is unavailable. Answering and ending calls is then done from an application. To establish an audio connection via the Computer channel, you need to set Axtel Prime X3 as the default source (for speakers and microphone) in Windows. Press the Computer button on the base so that it is illuminated in orange (activation is confirmed by the “phone computer” voice message).
4.3 Connecting to a mobile phone A Bluetooth® connection is established after holding down the Mobile Phone button on the base station for approximately 3 seconds.

4.4 LinkBack The LinkBack feature allows you to reconnect with the last paired mobile phone (via Bluetooth®). When you are back within the range of your Prime X3, hold the Mobile Phone button on the base. When the connection is established, the Mobile Phone icon will blink 3 times and then glow white. A Bluetooth connection® is only possible with a mobile phone
5. Use
5.1 Answering and ending calls An incoming call is signalled by an acoustic message from the headphone and by the appropriate pictogram on the base station flashing in green. Answering a call is possible from the headset, the base station and compatible soft-phone applications. Option only available with a proper EHS cable. · To answer a call from the headset ­ shortly press the MFB . · To answer a call from the base station ­ press the button corre-
sponding to the channel of the incoming call.
5.2 Desk phone Desk phone ­ to make a call, press the MFB button on the headset or the Desk Phone button on the base and dial the appropriate number on the desk phone keypad. Available only with a proper EHS cable.
Mobile phone and computer Making calls from a mobile phone or computer is done from connected devices.
5.3 Call managing
Answering another call and putting the current call on hold. To put the current call on hold and answer an incoming call, press the MFB for 2 seconds or press the button on the base corresponding to the source of the call.
Answering another call on a different channel and ending the current call. To end the current call and answer an incoming call, shortly press the MFB on the headset.

the corresponding button.
When switching between active channels, the current connection will be put on hold. Return to the call on hold by repeating the above operation.
5.4 Adjusting the volume for each channel separately Microphone sensitivity and speaker volume can be adjusted as needed. Adjusting the volume in the headset is done by pressing the +/- buttons located on the upper part of the headset. (Figure 6). The lowest and the highest settings are indicated by a sound signal. Microphone sensitivity can be adjusted using the buttons on the back of the base. Sensitivity is set individually for each channel separately (desk phone, computer, mobile phone). This is an extremely convenient solution that allows you to perfectly adjust the device to your individual preferences.
5.5 Muting the microphone (MUTE) Microphone muting (MUTE) is activated a) from the headset: By pressing both +/- volume control buttons

Microphone mute is indicated by the illumination of the microphone mute LED indicator on the base and by an acoustic signal (played in a loop every 10 seconds).

5.7 Hearing protection adjustment (see Figure 12) With your well-being in mind, Axtel Prime X3 headphones are equipped with three levels of Acoustic Protection: 85 decibels (highest level of protection), 87 decibels and 105 decibels.

To change the Acoustic Protection level, place the switchedon headset on the base and then press both +/- volume control buttons simultaneously for 1 second. A diode and an acoustic signal indicate the current level of acoustic protection (Figure 11).

· Single diode flash and single beep ­ 85 decibels, · Double diode flash and double beep ­ 87 decibels, · Triple diode flash and triple beep ­ 105 decibels.

Pressing both +/- buttons simultaneously for 1 second changes the Acoustic Protection level.

5. 8 Headset and base localizer ­ headset localizer ­ press the MUTE button on the base for 3 seconds. The base will enter the headset localizing mode, indicated by a sound signal, and a triple flashing of all diodes. In headset localizing mode, the headset emits short sounds that are looped every 3 seconds. After finding the headset, turn off the localizing mode by pressing the MFB on the headset.
5.9 Listening-in on the channel: Computer and Mobile Phone (Bluetooth®) An innovative functionality making it possible to monitor the Computer /Mobile Phone transmission channels while having a conversation on another channel. It has been designed to make work easier for blind and visually impaired people. It is compatible with systems that assist blind and visually impaired people, on various PC/mobile platforms. Sound is only transmitted towards the headset.
5.10 Information about battery status and active channel
a) Battery 100-%­80%­60%­40%­20% ­ charging necessary · The headset automatically relays the information about the drop
in battery level every 20% and about the necessity of charging · There is a possibility of checking the battery level by way of
pressing and holding down the Desk phone button on the base for 3 seconds

b) Information about active channels and incoming calls · To check the active channel ­ press the Desk phone channel for 3 seconds, and the headset will inform about the currently active channel and battery status. · Switching between channels is confirmed by voice messages adequate to the currently selected channel. · Information about incoming calls is indicated by a voice message.
5.11 Resetting the headset (see Figure 13) To reset the headset, press the RESET button located in a small opening on the headset next to the docking port (point 1 in Figure 13). We recommend using a thin, pointed object for this purpose. The headset will turn off after the above action. Then remove the object which you used to press the RESET button from the hole and turn the headset on again by pressing the MFB (point 2 in Figure 13).

6. Voice messages The Prime X3 automatically informs the user about battery status, necessity of charging, and about the current active channel and incoming calls.

7. Recommendations
· Before you start using the device, it is recommended to ensure that it is connected properly and to familiarize yourself with its functionalities and the manual.
· Excessive bending of the microphone, headband, or other parts of the headset may cause danger and permanent damage to the device.
· For hygienic reasons, it is recommended to periodically clean and disinfect the headset.
· It is recommended to periodically replace the protective leather layers and sponges at least every 6 months.
· It is recommended to clean the headset with special wipes designed for electronic equipment.
· Store the headset in a safe place, away from moisture and extreme temperatures.
· It is not recommended to use the product if it is damaged or incomplete.
· For safety reasons, do not move the headset components rapidly.
· Excessive bending of the microphone, headband, or other parts of the headset may cause danger and permanent damage to the device.

8. Declarations and warnings
· Avoid prolonged listening at maximum volume.
· The volume of the received sound may vary depending on the connected device and its settings.
· If you feel any discomfort, it is recommended that you stop using the device.
· Axtel Prime X3 headsets are equipped with Acoustic Protection technology that cancels high and harmful sounds at 85 decibels / 87 decibels / 105 decibels.
· If you experience discomfort from direct skin contact with the device, stop using the headphones and contact Axtel. Continued wearing of the headphones may lead to allergic reactions such as redness or rash.
· Minors should only use the headphones under adult supervision due to the risk of hearing damage or getting entangled in the cable.
· Using the headphones while riding a bicycle or driving a motor vehicle may lead to an accident because the device distracts you and limits your hearing capacity.
· While using the device, be careful not to get your hair stuck between the moving parts.
· While using the product, do not fall asleep with the headphones on.
· Persons with pacemakers or cardiac related diseases should consult their physician regarding the use of headphones.
· Warning against the use of the headphones by children. Since the headphones contain small components, they should be kept out of the reach of children under 3 years of age.

4. Konfiguracja zestawu sluchawkowego

3.1 Podlczenie urzdzenia Stacj bazow naley podlczy do prdu za pomoc zasilacza dolczonego do zestawu. Poprawne podlczenie sygnalizowane jest dwikiem z bazy.
3.2 Uruchomienie sluchawki S dwa sposoby na uruchomienie sluchawki: a) Przez przytrzymanie przycisku MFB przez okolo 1 sekund.
Po wlczeniu zostanie odtworzony dwik w sluchawce. b) Przez odloenie sluchawki naglownej na gniazdo stacji bazowej. Prawidlowe uruchomienie i sparowanie sluchawki ze stacj bazow zostanie zakomunikowane sygnalem akustycznym oraz zakoczeniem migania przycisku MFB .
3.3 Wylczenie sluchawki i bazy Aby wylczy sluchawk, naley przytrzyma przycisk MFB przez 5 sekund. Sygnal dwikowy w sluchawce sygnalizuje wylczenie. Aby wylczy baz naley odlczy kabel zasilajcy.

4.1 Podlczenie do telefonu stacjonarnego* (patrz rysunek 9 i 10) Istniej trzy odrbne sposoby podlczenia zestawu Prime X3 do telefonu stacjonarnego:
a) Podlczenie do telefonu stacjonarnego posiadajcego dedykowane wejcie na sluchawk naglown.
b) Podlczenie do telefonu stacjonarnego nie posiadajcego wejcia na sluchawk naglown.
c) Opcjonalne podlczenie przy uyciu kabla EHS.

3.4 Parowanie – lczenie nowej sluchawki z baz Wlczon sluchawk naley umieci na wylczonej bazie, nastpnie podlczy zasilanie do bazy. Po podlczeniu zasilania do bazy rozpocznie si parowanie sluchawki.
