ENERGY STAR qualified model only
Proper sizing and installation of equipment is critical to achieve optimal performance. Split system air conditioners and heat pumps (excluding ductless systems) must be matched with appropriate coil components to meet ENERGY STAR criteria. Ask your contractor for details or visit www.energystar.gov.

Turn Unit On/Off
Point the remote control towards the unit and press the (power button).
NOTE

  • Requires 2 AAA 1.5 V batteries to operate remote control.
  • Turning the unit On/Off cancels some settings, see User Manual for details.

Heat mode
Press the (Mode button) until Heat displays in the Mode Indicator.

  1. Click the (Temp Controller) until the desired setting displays in the Temperature Indicator area.

NOTE

  • Unit will only produce heat in this mode.

Cool mode
Press the (Mode button) until Cool displays in the Mode Indicator.

  1. Click the (Temp Controller) until the desired setting displays in the Temperature Indicator area.

NOTE

  • Unit will only produce cool air in this mode.

Auto mode
Press the (Mode button) until Auto displays in the Mode Indicator.

  1. Click the (Temp Controller) until the desired setting displays in the Temperature Indicator area.

NOTE

  • Unit will heat and cool in this mode.

To set the temperature

In operation ▶

Mode Temperature control
Auto/Cool Adjust by 1℉ from 61℉ to 86℉.
Heat Adjust by 1 ℉ from 47 ℉ to 86 ℉
Dry Adjust by 1℉ from 65℉ to 86℉.
Fan No temperature control

To adjust the fan speed

Cool/Heat (Auto),  (Low),  (Med),  (High), (Turbo)
Fan (Low),  (Med),  (High),  (Turbo)

To adjust the airflow direction

In operation ▶

NOTE

  • If you adjust the vertical airflow blade manually, it may not close completely when you turn off the air conditioner.
  • Always use the remote control to adjust the airflow blades. Do not move the blades by hand. They may not operate normally.
