Installation Instructions
WARNING : This product has sharp edges. Wear protective clothing, eye protection, and gloves during installation to prevent personal injury.
ATTENTION : Take extreme care during installation to prevent damage to the outdoor unit coil.
Wind/hail guard models: WHG-T1-B, WHG-T2-B, WHG-T3-B
Parts included: Top wind/hail guard, installation screws
NOTE:

To prevent personal injury or damage to the outdoor unit, at least two (2) people are required to install the top wind/hail guard.

WHG-T*-B Can install forward or backward discharging air to the front or the back of the outdoor unit.

Ensure that prevailing winds will not blow into the guard regularly. Prolonged exposure to strong winds blowing into the guard can decrease performance and cause motor failure.

To prevent personal injury and property damage when using WHG-T*-B, secure the outdoor unit to the ground or structure as noted in the outdoor unit installation manual. Failure to properly secure the unit can lead to equipment tipping due to high wind gusts.
- Carefully lift the guard onto the unit taking care not to scratch the outdoor unit finish.
- After the top wind/hail guard is positioned on the unit, secure it to the outdoor unit with included screws using all provided screw holes across the front, back, and sides of the top wind/hail guard.
