MODSTER MD11516 Breezy Drone RTF
Product Information
The MODSTER Breezy is a drone that comes with a controller for easy operation. It features a rechargeable battery and LED lights for visibility during flight. The drone also has a headless mode for easy navigation and a speed switch for adjusting the flying speed. It comes with safety guides, maintenance and care instructions, and flight operation guides.
Product Usage Instructions
Flight Preparation
- Insert batteries into the controller.
- Charge the drone battery.
Flight Operation Guide
To start flying the drone:
- Turn on the drone. The LED lights will blink quickly.
- Turn on the controller.
Note: Repeat step 1 before every flight.
Product Flight Controls
The drone can be controlled using the following buttons:
- Take off and land: Press the takeoff/landing button.
- Ascend and descend: Use the left joystick.
- Rotate left and right: Use the left joystick.
- Fly forward and backward: Use the right joystick.
- Fly left and right: Use the right joystick.
Flight Trimming
If the drone is not flying straight, use the trimming buttons to adjust its position:
- Trim right: Press the right trimming button.
- Trim left: Press the left trimming button.
- Trim forward: Press the forward trimming button.
- Trim backward: Press the backward trimming button.
Product Headless Mode
The headless mode makes it easier to navigate the drone. To use it:
- Ensure the drone is in the correct starting position as shown in the manual.
- Press the headless mode button on the controller.
Speed Switch
The speed switch can be used to adjust the drone’s flying speed:
- Low speed: Press the speed switch once.
- High speed: Press the speed switch twice.
Always follow safety guidelines and never leave the battery charging unattended.
Important notes
- This product is not a toy. Incorrect handling can lead to injury and damage.
- Read the instructions before use, otherwise the manufacturer will not accept any claims for damage.
Safety Guidelines
- Fly away from people and not over crowds.
- Keep your distance from animals, buildings, heat sources, power lines and substations.
- Keep your distance from obstacles while flying.
- This product is suitable for indoor & outdoor operation (maximum wind force 3).
- A flying drone may cause damage or injury to people due to malfunction interferences.
- Observe national regulations regarding the operation of flying devices.
- Fly only in warm, dry and windless weather conditions.
- Always keep the drone in sight!
- Do not touch the rotating propellers and keep your distance – risk of injury!
- Allow the motor and battery to cool down for at least 20min after each flight to avoid overloading.
- Do not touch hot parts of the drone.
- Do not look directly into the LEDs – they are very bright and can cause eye damage.
Beginner tip
- Practice flying at low altitude for 3 days. Ask an experienced pilot for assistance with your first flights.
- This product is suitable for people with a minimum age of 14 years.
Maintenance and Care
- Thoroughly check the drone after crash or violent impact.
- Do not charge the battery before it cools down.
- Remove the batteries if the product will not be in use for a long time.
- Do not over charge the battery. Unplug the charger once it is fully charged.
- Store the drone and remote in a cool, dry place away form direct sunlight.
- Do not charge the battery next to inflammables, such as carpet, timber floor etc., or on the surface of electro-conductive objects. Please always keep an eye on the battery while charging.
- Please use the original battery provided. Use an incorrect type of battery may lead to fire hazards.
- Do not dispose of the battery in fire or a hot oven, cut or mechanically crush the battery, as this may cause explosions.
- Do not leave the battery in an extremely high-temperature environment or expose the battery to the extremely low air pressure, as this may resuly in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid / gas.
- Do not charge the battery unobserved.
Product Overview
Note: Press and hold the One Key Take-off/Landing button for 3 seconds to make an emergency stop.
Flight Preparation
- Install the remote batteries.
- Charge the battery of the drone.
- Install the drone battery after it‘s fully charged.
Tips
- For your safety, please use the original battery and USB cable.
- Flight time of the battery may be reduced when flying in cold weather.
- Free the battery of any sharp objects that could puncture into the battery to avoid risk of explosions and fire.
- The LED on the drone will flash continously when the battery is low.
- To extend the battery‘s lifespan, recharge it at least once every three months if not using it for long periods of time.
Flight Operation Guide
- Turn on the drone: LED light flashes rapidly
- Turn on the controller
- Place the drone at a flat surface with head forward
- Push the left control stick forward to top and then pull it backward till the bottom. Pairing is successful when the LED on the drone is solid on.
- Move the left and right sticks inward & downward (left stick 5 o’clock and right stick 7 o’clock positions) for 3 seconds. The LED will flash quickly and then turns to solid, calibration is successful.
Note
- Please repeat the step 5 before every flight.
Take-off
- Option 1: Press the button to take off.
- Option 2: Move the Left Control Stick to lower left in 45° and the Right Control Stick to lower right in 45° at the same time until the four rotor blades start totaling, then slowly push the Left Control Stick forward to take off.
Landing
- Option 1: Press the button to land.
- Option 2: Pull the Left Control Stick backward to the bottom to land the drone, and hold it for 3s at least until all the rotor blades stop rotating.

Flight Trimming
Altitude / Hover
- This is one of the default setting in the drone. When you release the Left Control Stick after the ascending/descending action, the drone will hover at the current flight height.
- For a stable flight. press the trim buttons to adjust accordingly.
360 °Flip
- After flying the drone to a height over 2 meters, press the 360 ° flip button to activate 360 ° flip function.
- Then move the Right Control Stick forward/backward/leftward/rightward to flip the drone accordingly.
Headless Mode
- To ensure headless mode works well, please ensure corrent take off position as below picture shows
- Long press the right upper button to active headless function. You will hear 2 beeps. In this mode, the drone will fly following the direction of the Right Control Stick regardless of the positionof your drone‘s s head or the tail. The LED on the drone will flash during headless mode.Long press the same button again to exit this mode.
One key reverse
- To ensure One key reverse works well, please ensure corrent take-off position as above picture shows.
- While the drone is in flight, press the reverse button on the remote control, the controller will beep once and the drone will fly in reverse.
- Push the right control stick to any direction for canceling this function.
Speed Switch
- The drone is set to low speed by default. Press the Left upper button down once for medium speed and there are two beeps from the remote.
- A Second press will get back to low speed and there is one beep from the remote.
Obstacle avoidance
- The drone is come with 4 sensing points. During the drone’s flying, these sensing point can sense the obstacle and avoid to crash with it.
Disclaimer of Warranties
- This model must not be used by children younger than 14 years
- It contains small parts that could be swallowed – keep away from kids
- Keep hands, face, hair and loose clothing away from the rotors
- Do not reach into rotating parts
- Always disconnect the battery connector after the flight and remove the battery from the model!
- Only fly where it is safe and where you do not endanger third parties
- Keep the operating instructions in a save place and read them carefully before using the model.
- We recommend people with no knowledge of model flying to commission the model under the guidance of an experienced pilot
- Before each flight, test the range of the remote control and the charge status of the rechargeable battery and check the batteries or rechargeable batteries in the remote control.
Do not fly…
- near crowds of people,
- towards people or animals,
- in poor visibility,
- near high-voltage lines or radio masts
- during thunderstorms, rain, snow or in a damp environment.
- Always keep the aircraft in sight and under control.
- Always use fully charged batteries / rechargeable batteries.
- Always switch on model first, then transmitter and always switch off model first, then the transmitter.
- Do not use the model if it is visually or mechanically damaged.
- Always check all screw connections and structures for tightness and damage
- Never reach into the rotating rotor – risk of injury!
- Always disconnect and remove the flight battery from the model after the flight.
- Always charge the battery outside of the model, charge on a non-flammable surface, never store the battery in the model. Never charge batteries unobserved!
