DEAR CUSTOMER!
Prior to operating the appliance, please carefully read the present manual
which contains important information regarding its proper and safe operation.
Take care not to lose the present manual. The manufacturer will not be
responsible for any damage resulting from improper use of the appliance or
from non-observance of the instructions and provisions of the present manual,
as well as from attempts by unskilled persons at repairing the appliance.
Should You decide to transfer the appliance to another person, please pass the
present manual over along with it. The oil-filled radiator heater is a home
appliance and is not designed for industrial applications!
PURPOSE
The heater is designed for local heating of indoor areas.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to avoid situations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature failures of the appliance:
- The appliance should not be used by physically, sensory or mentally handicapped persons (including children) or by persons without sufficient experience or knowledge, unless such persons are under supervision, or have been instructed on the use of the appliance, by the persons responsible for their safety. Take precautions not to let children play with the appliance.
- Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in operation. If you are not using the appliance ensure that it is turned off (the switch is in the OFF position) and disconnected from power supply.
- Never place the appliance directly underneath an electric socket.
- Do not route the power cable under a carpet or other floor linings.
- Do not place the power cable across a door opening, or aisle where people can stumble on it.
- Ensure that the power supply grid voltage corresponds to the one indicated on the appliance before operating it. Do not use power socket adapters to avoid a fire.
- Do not use accessories and spare parts other than supplied by the Manufacturer. If such parts are used the Manufacturer’s warranty will become void.
- Do not operate the appliance if its power cable, plug and other parts are damaged.
- In case of power cable damage it should be replaced, to avoid dangerous situations, by the Manufacturer, a service centre or similar skilled personnel.
- Do not use extension cables for connecting the appliance to power supply. This can cause a short circuit and overheating of the appliance.
- Use the appliance in well ventilated rooms. Do not allow any foreign objects to get into the space behind the protective grille of the heater. Do not cover the air exhaust and intake openings. This may lead to a fire.
- Do not place the appliance near flammable materials (bed linen, curtains, etc.) and liquids.
- Do not use the appliance in facilities where flammable liquids are stored, in garages, etc.
- Do not use the appliance near a shower cabin or swimming pool. Do not place the appliance in locations where it can fall into water. Avoid any contact of the appliance with water.
- The appliance gets hot during operation. Do not touch the heating surfaces. Use the carry handle on the unit’s housing to move it.
- Ensure that no other heating devices are connected to the power grid during the unit’s operation. Using multiple loads can lead to power system overload.
- Special instructions for transportation (shipment) and sale: none.
WARNING!
- To avoid overheating never cover the heater.
- This heater is not equipped with a room temperature control system. Do not use the heater in small rooms occupied by persons who cannot leave the room without assistance, if no constant surveillance is provided.
ATTENTION!
- This heater is filled with an exact quantity of special oil. Any repairs requiring the opening of the oil container should only be performed by the Manufacturer or its authorized maintenance representative whom you should contact in case of an oil leak.
- When disposing of the heater please follow the applicable requirements related to oil disposal.
- Do not use the appliance in rooms smaller than 5 m2 .
- The power cord of the appliance should not come into contact with the heating surfaces of the radiator.

OPERATING PROCEDURE
INSTALLING THE WHEELS
ATTENTION! The appliance may only be used after the feet and wheels are
installed.
- Turn the heater over with the control panel facing downwards. Ensure that the appliance is stably standing on the floor.
- Install the feet with wheels between the two outermost heater segments on both sides of the heater.
- Insert the U-shaped holders so that they fit around the radiator feet.
- Secure the feed with the nuts.
- Set the radiator upright and ensure that it stands stably on the floor.
OPERATION
- Before operating the appliance ensure that it is placed on a smooth surface.
- Ensure that all switches are in the OFF position. Plug the power cord into an electric socket.
- Set the temperature regulator to the MAX setting and turn the heater on by choosing one of the following modes: I – minimal output, II – medium output, III – maximum output.
- When the temperature in the room reaches the desired level, turn the temperature regulator counterclockwise until the pilot light goes out. Leave the appliance in this position. When the temperature in the room decreases the appliance will turn on automatically and will keep operating until the temperature returns to the desired level. This will allow you to maintain an optimal temperature in the room.
- Use the temperature regulator if you wish to change the desired temperature in the room. Turn the regulator clockwise to increase the temperature and counterclockwise to reduce it.
- This appliance is equipped with an overheating protection system which will turn the heater off if it reaches an excessively high temperature.
- In order to turn the heater off set all switches to the OFF position and disconnect the appliance from power supply
MAINTENANCE
- Disconnect the heater from power supply and let it cool down before cleaning
- Use a soft dry cloth to remove contamination from the surface of the appliance.
ATTENTION!
- Do not submerge the appliance in water!
- Do not allow the appliance to come into contact with water.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
- Store the appliance in a dry location after coiling up the power cord and placing tiyt inside the storage compartment.

DISPOSAL
Upon expiry of its service life the appliance can be disposed of separately from ordinary domestic waste. You can turn it over to a specialized electric and electronic appliance disposal and recycling centre.

The service life of this item is 5 years since the date of sale to the end user, provided the item will be used in strict accordance with the present manual and the applicable technical standards. Upon expiry of the service life please contact the nearest authorized service centre for suggestions as to further operation of the appliance. The manufacturing date of the appliance is integrated into the serial number (digits 2 and 3 – year, digits 4 and 5 – month of manufacture). DEAR VALUED CONSUMER!
The guarantee period for all appliances amounts to 12 months since the date of
sale to the end consumer. With this Warranty Card the Manufacturer confirms
the proper condition of the appliance and undertakes to repair, freeof charge,
all defects caused by the Manufacturer’s default.
GUARANTEE MAINTENANCE TERMS

The guarantee shall be valid if the following documentation conditions are observed:
- The original Warranty Card shall be filled out correctly and clearly, indicating the of appliance model, serial number and sale date, the stamp of the seller company and signature of its representative shall be available, as well as the stamps on each coupon and the buyer’s signature in the Warranty Card. The Manufacturer reserves the right to reject guarantee maintenance if the buyer fails to provide the abovementioned documents or if the information contained therein is incomplete, illegible or ambiguous.

The guarantee shall be valid if the following operation conditions are observed:
- the appliance is used in strict accordance with the present manual;
- the safety rules and requirements are observed.

The guarantee does not apply to regular maintenance, cleaning, installation and setup of the appliance at the owner’s location.

The guarantee does not apply in the following cases:

mechanical damage;
-
normal wear of the appliance;
-
non-observance of operation requirements or erroneous actions on the part of the user;

improper installation or transportation;
-
natural disasters (lightning, fire, flood, etc.), as well as any other causes beyond the Manufacturer’s or Seller’s control;
-
ingress of foreign objects, liquids or insects into the inside of the appliance;
-
repairs or modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons;
-
use of the appliance for commercial purposes (loads exceeding normal domestic application), connection of the appliance to utility
and telecommunication networks incompliant with national technical standards; -
failure of the following accessories, if replacement of these is allowed by design and does not involve disassembly of the appliance:
a) remote control units, rechargeable batteries, replaceable batteries (power cells), external power supply units and chargers;
b) consumables and accessories (packaging, covers, slings, carry bags, mesh screens, blades, flasks, plates, supports, grilles, spits, hoses, tubes, brushes, nozzles, dust collectors, filters, smell absorbers); -
for battery-powered appliances – operation with inappropriate or depleted batteries;

for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging.

The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the consumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.

The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or indirectly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumer’s or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.

Service centers will only accept appliances in a clean state (there should be no food residues, dust and other contamination on the appliance).
The Manufacturer reserves the right to change the design and specifications of the appliance without prior notice.
