HDHU.14 Firmware Update
The HDHU.14 Firmware Update is a software update for the product that provides improvements such as 13-Band EQ, High-Pass Crossover, Selectable Slope for F/R RCA’s Subwoofer Crossover, 12dB Subsonic, and an Additional Orange Touch Key Color.
The firmware update requires the installation of 032822 before it can be installed. It can be downloaded from the manufacturer’s website and saved to a computer. The compressed files need to be unzipped and copied onto a blank USB flash drive with a maximum capacity of 64GB. The USB drive must be formatted in FAT32 before downloading the firmware.
Product Usage Instructions
HDHU.14 Firmware Update
- Download the HDHU.14 Firmware Update from the manufacturer’s website and save it to your computer.
- After downloading, make sure the compressed files are unzipped and copied onto a blank USB flash drive (64GB max) on the root directory file of the USB flash drive.
- Format the USB flash drive in FAT32 before downloading the firmware.
- Insert the USB stick into the product and select the settings icon from the home screen.
- Select the system settings tab at the top, then on the next screen select the About button.
- Select Update and on the next screen select Update Again.
- Wait for both updates to complete. The headunit will restart itself once both updates are complete.

How To Use

Download the HDHU.14 Firmware Update and Save to Computer.
After downloading, make sure the compressed files are unzipped and are copied onto a blank USB Flash Drive (64GB Max) on the Root Directory File of USB Flash Drive
Format USB Drive in FAT32 Before Downloading Firmware -
Insert USB stick and select the “Settings Icon” from the Home Screen

Select “System Settings” Tab at top, then next screen select “About” button

Select “Update” and on next screen select “Update” Again
Wait for both Updates to complete
Headunit will restart itself once both updates are complete
