PRECAUTIONS

Carefully read the following notices before operating the dehumidifier.
Always observe the warnings and notices to ensure safe operation.

  1. In case of any abnormality, ensure to turn off the unit, disconnect the plug and contact the seller. (Otherwise abnormal operation may result in the unit failure, electric shock, fire, etc.)
  2. Never attempt to turn off the unit by disconnecting the plug.
  3. Never attempt to disassemble or repair the unit on your own.
  4. To avoid electric shock, only plug or unplug the unit with dry hands.
  5. The unit is powered with 220-240 VAC.
  6. Clean the power plug pins of any dust and securely insert the plug into a power outlet.
  7. To avoid fire or explosion, never spray water on the unit, and keep any flammables or chemicals away from the unit.
  8. Keep the unit away from heating appliances, otherwise the rubber parts can melt or catch fire.

MODE FUNCTION
Press the mode button to switch between the operating modes in the following cycle: “Auto – Silence – Strong – Continuous”. During the first start-up, the unit is set to “Auto” mode by default. Upon normal power-off, the system will remember the last operating mode, and will continue operating in that last mode, once the operation is resumed.
Silence mode: in this mode, the air flow speed is low, and the humidity is adjustable.
Strong mode: in this mode, the air flow speed is high to ensure powerful dehumidification, and the humidity is not adjustable.
Continuous mode: in this mode, the compressor keeps working, the air flow speed is low, and the humidity is not adjustable.
Auto mode: in this mode, the humidity is automatically set to 55%, the air flow speed will automatically change based on the ambient humidity (ambient humidity>70% is considered high, ambient humidity<55% is considered low), the humidity is not adjustable.
DEFROSTING
If the unit operates at room temperature below 23°C, the evaporator inside will start freezing, so the defrosting function
will turn on automatically (for 5-10 minutes) at least every 30 minutes.

  • During defrosting, the unit does not perform dehumidification.
  • Do not disconnect the plug or turn off the unit during defrosting.

During defrosting, the indicator light is on, the compressor stops, and the fan keeps operating.
AIR CLEAN FUNCTION
On the operating unit, press the “AIR CLEAN” button to turn on the ionizer; the corresponding indicator light will turn on.

Once the operating mode is set, the built-in microcomputer remembers that mode. If the unit has been turned off using the “STANDBY” button, it will resume operation later in exactly that mode. If the unit has been shut down by unplugging or due to power failure, you will need to set the mode again.
OPERATING THE UNIT
The unit will stop automatically once the set timer period (0 to 24 hours) is over.
Plug the unit into the power outlet.

  • The LED display will light up.
  • The buzzer will sound.

Open the suitable outlet air flap (in case the unit does not have the swing function).
Set the unit to the desired operating mode by pressing the “Mode” button.

  • Every time you press the “Mode” button, the mode selection lamps light up in sequence, and the operation mode changes.
  • Press and hold the “Mode” button for 5 seconds to lock the buttons; hold the “Mode” button for 5 second again to unlock the buttons.

TIMER OPERATION
Press the “Timer” button to set the timer: the “Timer” light will turn on, and you will be able to set the time. Before programming the time, make sure that the timer function is active (the light must be off).
The following timer programs are available:
A. Delayed power-off (when the unit is operating). The unit will stop once the set time elapses.
B. Delayed start-up. Use the “TIMER” button to set the time (0-24 hours). The appliance will start once the set time elapses. While the time is being counted down, the timer lamp indicated the remaining time.
STOPPING OPERATION
Press the “STANDBY” button again.

  • The mode selection lamp will go off, and the unit will stop operating.
  • Close the flap (in case the unit does not have the swing function).

BUZZER
Whenever any button is pressed, the buzzer sounds.
Note. Be sure to open either flap. If the flap is not fully opened during operation, the overheat protection will stop the unit.
If the unit is plugged in or restarted immediately after stop, the unit will start dehumidifying after approximately 3 minutes due to action of the protective function.
Once power supply is resumed after power failure, the “Auto” lamp will flash. Press the power button again to start operation.
The unit performance depends on the outside air. To ensure efficient operation, do not open the windows and doors frequently.
To ensure good performance, operate the unit in the proper temperature range. If the ambient temperature is above approximately 36°C, the unit will stop dehumidifying and switch to the air cleaning mode for safety purposes.
The circulating refrigerant may make noise during the unit start-up. Once the circulation becomes stable, the noise wil cease.
