√WiFi Connection
- When the product is turned on, open the MINI EYE APP, click “+” on the device page to add a new device, the APP will automatically search for product Wi-Fi.
- Select “MINI EYE-” in the Wi-Fi list to connect, the default password is 1234567890.
Q. APP ＆ WiFi can not connect？
– A. APP&WIFI cannot connect
1. Please check whether the connected WiFi name is the same as the dash cam’s
WiFi name and whether the password is entered correctly.
2. Please try to restart the dash cam and APP, you can delete or forget the
network and try to connect again.
3. Since the mobile phone system has intelligent management behavior for all
networks, please try to temporarily turn off the mobile network before
connecting.
4. Since the WiFi of the dash cam does not have the function of surfing the
Internet, the mobile phone system may prompt you to switch to the network with
Internet access after the connection is successful. In this case, please
authorize keep the current WiFi connection status of the dash cam, otherwise
the connection will be disconnected. If you still can’t connect, please submit
feedback on the APP and contact us.
Q.Can’t switch to preview rear camera, keep saying cannot detect rear
camera?
– A.Please update the firmware to the latest version. Our C2L support OTA
online update without changing a device. Before updating the firmware please
make sure your mobile APP is the latest version.
– Latest APP: IOS version： V1.1.4; Android version：2.1.21.Firmware version:
V22.10.26.0.7.2
Q.How to change the WiFi password?
– A.First please make sure your MINI EYE APP and firmware are the latest
versions. Connect your C2L dash to APP, then go into Device->Click C2L to
preview the interface -Click the Setting icon on the top right corner-Change
WiFi password.
Q.How to change km to mph?
– A.First please make sure your MINI EYE APP and firmware are the latest
versions. Connect your C2L dash to APP, then go into Device->Click C2L to
preview the interface -Click the Setting icon on the top right corner-Speed
unit.
Q.MINI EYE app doesn’t have local network permission to preview recording
video？
– With the new launch of iOS 14, Apple introduced a number of privacy
changes. One of them is local network permission. To discover and communicate
with your C2L dash cam via MINI EYE APP, you have to approve this permission
request. Without this permission, this app will fail to connect to your local
network.
1.Launch the Settings app.
2.Tap Privacy.
3.Tap on Local Network. You should see the list of all the apps that have
requested permission to find and communicate on your local network.
4.Turn on this switch toggle to allow MINI EYE APP to access your local
network.
