Thank you for purchasing the Godox Supercardioid Condenser Shotgun
Microphone. This product has a built-in lithium battery, which is used for
interview, video recording, livestream, program presentation, etc. Please read
this manual carefully before using to make sure the correct operation and
exert the optimum function.

Warning
Do not disassemble. Should repairs become necessary, this product must be sent
to an authorized maintenance center.
Always keep this product dry. Do not use in rain or in damp conditions.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use the flash unit in the presence of flammable gas. In certain
circumstance, please pay attention to the relevant warnings.
Do not leave or store the product if the ambient temperature reads over 50°C .
Please carefully read and observe the warnings and instructions provided by
the manufacturer.

2048 Pad/Safety Channel Button: -20d8 pad and safety channel funciions.
High-pass Filter Button: 75+ high-pass filer and 160+ high-pass filer
Power/High- frequency Boost Button: power ON/OFF and engage high
frequency boost.
Gain Control Dial: turn the select dial to adjust gain value from 110 15,
the number 1 s the minimum gain, and the number 15 s the maximur gain
Operation Instructions

Precise Gain Control
The microphone tail with Gain Control Dil for turning and adjusting the gain value 1-15 to select and match your device and environment. -
Power/High-frequency Boost Button
The bottom buttonis the Power/High-frequency Boost Button. By default the microphone wil automatically turn on when connected to the device, and tum off when disconnected from the device. You can also manually tun on/off by pressing and holding this button for 3 seconds. Heres also a high frequency boost or enhancing clarity and detail in your recording, short press this button to engage the high frequency boost (right LED williluminate), and short press again to disengage the high frequency boost right LED will tun off). -
High-pass Filters
The middie button i High-pass Fiters Button, press this button to switchto engage the 75Hz high-pass fiter let LED williluminate) and 150z high-pass fiter (right LED wil iluminate), press third time to disengage high-pass fiter function (both LEDS willtur of). There are two high-pass fiters avallable, which cut frequencies below 5Hz and 150Hz respectively 1o help mitigate wind noise and otherlow frequency rumble.
Note: The 150H fiterwilcut more bass frequencies, so thisis suitable inmare adverse conditons. -
-2008 Pad and safety channel
Press the top button once to engage the -20d8 left LED willliminate), press once more to engagethe safety channel (ift LED will tun off,right LED will lluminate), press button third time 1o engageboth the -2008 and safety channel (both LEDS wil iluminate), press fourth time 1 disengage both functions (both LEDS will tun off).
The -20d8 pad function makes sure your audio s clear and distortion-free when recording loud sound sources. While the safety channel records a second track at -20d8 that can subsiitute for the main track in post-production f it distorts. -
3.5mm output and auto-sensing feature
The 3 5mm output automatically detects whether the microphone s plugged nto a TAS.
input (most cameras) or a TRAS input (most smartphones and tablets) and switches to accommodate without adapters. -
USB output
Plug tnto the computer,tablet or smartphone to conver it into a USB microphone, it will also stert charging automatically. You can also plug headphones into the 3.6mm output to monitor the audio.
Battery
The microphone features an in-buit thium battery that provides 25 hours of
recording and charges via USB-C (from empty o fullin 3.5 hours).
Instructions for Indicator Lights
When this microphone is turned on and working normally, the working indicator
light is always Green, and the high-pass filter button indicator light and the
-20dB Pad/Safety channel button indicator light are ail green;
The top LED is the peak warning light. It will flash red when the signal is
clipping, indicating that you need to either apply the -20dB pad and/or safety
channel, or lower the voice.
The Power LED Indicator displays battery power status, constant on green means
battery capacity is over 10%, flashing red means battery capacity is below
10%.
When the microphone connected to the power source, the LED indicates the
charging status; when connected to the computer, tablet and smartphone, blue
means charging, green means fully charged; when connected to the power pack or
USB power adapter, flashing green means charging, constant on green means
fully charged.

Maintenance
Avoid sudden drops. The device may fail to work after strong shocks, impacts,
or excess stress.
Keep dry. The product isn’t water-proof. Malfunction, rust, and corrosion may
occur and go beyond repair if soaked in water or exposed to high humidity.
Avoid sudden temperature changes. Condensation happens if sudden temperature
changes such as the circumstance when taking the product out of a building
with higher temperature to outside in winter. Please put the product in a
handbag or plastic bag beforehand.
Keep away from strong magnetic field. The strong static or magnetic field
produced by devices such as radio transmitters leads to malfunction.
Changes made to the specifications or designs may not be reflected in this
manual.

Warranty Period
The warranty period of products and accessories isimplemented according to
the relevant Product Maintenance Information. The warranty period is
calculated from the day(purchase date) when the product is bought for the
first time,and the purchase date is considered as the date registered onthe
warranty card when buying the product.
How to Get the Maintenance Service
If maintenance service is needed, you can directly contact the product
distributor or authorized service institutions. You can also contact the Godox
after-sale service call and we will offer you service. When applying for
maintenance service, you should provide valid warranty card. If you cannot
provide valid warranty card, we may offer you maintenance service once
confirmed that the product or accessory is involved in the maintenance scope,
but that shall not be considered as our obligation.
Inapplicable Cases
The guarantee and service offered by this document are not applicable in the
following cases:
- The product or accessory has expired its warranty period;
- Breakage or damage caused by inappropriate usage, maintenance or preservation, such as improper packing, improper usage, improper plugging in/out external equipment, falling off or squeezing by external force, contacting or exposing to the improper temperature, solvent, acid, base, flooding and damp environments, etc;
- Breakage or damage caused by non-authorized institution or staff in the process of installation, maintenance, alternation, addition and detachment;

- No valid warranty card;
