Aperia TECHNOLOGIES Halo Drive App

HALO DRIVE APPLICATION

The Halo Drive app is a mobile application available for Android and iPhone/iPad users. It can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The app is designed to work with the Halo Drive system, which is a Bluetooth-based device that can be installed in a vehicle for tracking and monitoring purposes.

DRIVE ACTIVATION: ONE-TIME BLUETOOTH PAIRING

Before using the Halo Drive app, you need to pair it with your vehicle’s Halo Drive system. Follow the steps below to complete the pairing process:

Download and install the Halo Drive app from https://aperiatech.com/halo-drive-app/ or scan the QR code provided in the user manual.
Open the app and follow the brief tour. Click “Finish Tour” to continue.
Scan the QR code found inside the driver door frame using your phone’s camera. The app will ask for permission to access the Gateway. Click “Allow”.
Allow Halo Drive to find, connect to, and determine the relative position of nearby devices. Click “Allow”.
A system dialog will ask to allow the app to Pair. Click “Pair”.
Enter the Bluetooth PIN from the door sticker and click “OK”. The PIN is usually 0000 or 1234 and may contain letters or symbols. You may also need to type this PIN on the other device.
Once pairing is complete, a screen will display configuration information. Click “Continue”.

After completing these steps, you will be able to connect to your vehicle using the Halo Drive app. Opening the app will immediately display the vehicle information screen.

Installation Instruction

ACTIVATION: ONE-TIME BLUETOOTH PAIRING
The Halo Drive app is available for Android and iPhone/iPad at https://aperiatech.com/halo-drive-app/
Before continuing, download and install the app from Google Play or the Apple App Store or use the QR Code here:

LAUNCH HALO DRIVE APP
At vehicle, open the Drive App, follow brief Tour and click “Finish Tour” to continue.
SCAN QR CODE
App will access the camera and ask to scan code. Label can be found inside driver door frame.
ALLOW APP TO FIND GATEWAY
After scanning, the app will ask for permission to access the Gateway. Click “Allow”.
COMPLETE BLUETOOTH PAIRING
A system dialog will ask to allow the app to Pair. Click “Pair”. Next, enter Bluetooth PIN from door sticker and click “OK”.
CONNECT TO VEHICLE
Once Pairing is complete, a screen will display conﬁguration information. Click “Continue”.
VEHICLE WELCOME SCREEN
Moving forward, opening the app will immediately display the Vehicle information screen.
