Product Information
The #15226 Jigsaw/Scroll Saw is a power tool designed for cutting wood or plastic. It is powered by a 12-volt DC power source and comes with saw blades included. Additional blades are available from Micro-Mark. The blade locking screw can be loosened with a flat-blade screwdriver (not included) for easy blade changes. The tool should always be unplugged before changing saw blades and work should be secured with clamps or a vise whenever possible. Eye protection should be worn at all times and the tool should be kept out of reach of children.
Product Usage Instructions
- Connect the Jigsaw to a 12-volt DC power source.
- To change the saw blade, unplug the tool and use a flat-blade screwdriver to loosen the blade locking screw.
- Insert the new saw blade with the teeth facing forward and re-tighten the locking screw.
- If the blade cannot be inserted into the slot, remove the locking screw and check for debris. Clean out the slot as necessary.
- Secure your work with clamps or a vise whenever possible.
- Wear eye protection at all times while using the tool.
- Do not operate the tool after taking drugs, alcohol, or medication or when tired or fatigued.
- Keep long hair tied back and avoid wearing loose clothing.
- Always change saw blades as soon as wear is apparent.
- Keep the tool out of reach of children.
