Product Information

The product is a warming plate used for keeping food warm. It has two models, WP1 and WP2, with different power consumption and warmer units. The appliance should only be used for private and indoor use and must not be used commercially. The instruction manual should be read carefully and kept in a safe place. The appliance should only be used as described in the manual and safety information should be followed to avoid any accidents or damages.

Product Usage Instructions

Before Use: Before using the appliance for the first time, read the instruction manual carefully. It is normal for the appliance to emit a slight odor during the first use, which will quickly disappear.

Setting up: Place the warming plate on a flat and heat-resistant surface. Make sure that there is at least 70cm of space between the appliance and any flammable materials such as curtains. Connect the appliance to a properly installed and easily accessible socket and use only the provided connection cables to connect the plates.

Operation: The appliance has a heating time of 7 minutes. After use, slide the temperature regulator to “MIN” and unplug the appliance.

Cleaning: Do not clean the appliance with water or any other liquid. Clean the appliance only with a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Safety: The appliance must be used and plugged in only according to the requirements shown on the rating label. Do not touch the power plug with wet hands and keep the cord away from hot parts. The appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities, provided that they are supervised or have been provided with instruction in the safe use of the appliance and have understood the resulting dangers. Children under the age of 8 must be kept away from the appliance and the connecting cable.

Disposal: The appliance should be disposed of according to local regulations.

Generally

This appliance is for private and indoor use only and must not be used commercially. Please read the instruction manual carefully and keep it at a safe place. When the appliance is given to another person the instruction manual should be passed to that per-son, too. Only use the appliance as described in the instruction manual and pay attention to the safety information. No liability for damages or accidents will be accepted, which are caused by not paying attention to the instruction manual.

Safety information

  • The appliance must be used and plugged in only according the requirements shown on the rating label.
  • Use the appliance only if the cord shows no damages. Check this before every use!
  • Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
  • Connect the power plug to a properly installed and easily accessible socket only.
  • To unplug the power plug, always pull the plug – not the cable.
  • Plug off the appliance after each use or in case of failure.
  • Do not pull at the cord. Don’t pull it over edges and don’t bend it too much.
  • Keep the cord away from hot parts.
  • The appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience/knowledge, provided that are supervised or have been provided with instruction in the safe use of the appliance and have understood the resulting dangers. Children must not use the packaging as a toy. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are 8 years or older and are supervised.
  • Children under the age of 8 must be kept away from the appliance and the connecting cable.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance or packaging material (e.g. Plastic Bags).
  • The appliance must not be operated using a timer or a separate remote system!
  • After using the appliance or if the appliance malfunctions, al-ways pull out the plug.
  • Never pull at the cord set. Do not chafe it over edges or squeeze it.
  • Keep the power supply cord away from hot parts.
  • Do not leave the appliance outdoors or in a damp area.
  • Never immerse the appliance in water.
  • Do not operate the appliance if it is damaged (for example if it felt down).
  • The manufacturer is not liable for damage occurred by using the appliance in another way than described or if a mistake in operating has been made.
  • The appliance becomes hot.
  • To avoid any dangers repairs such as replacing a damaged cord should only be carried out by customer service.
  • The appliance is not suitable to be used with an external timer or a separate remote control.
  • Don´t move the appliance with something on it.
  • The appliance must not be used by remote controls similar de-vices.
  • Never flow liquids over the surface.
  • After having finished please pull out the plug.
  • Attention! Housing and glass get hot. Danger of burns! Do not place the appliance on a sensitive sur-face (e.g. painted furniture) and keep a distance of at least 70cm to burnable materials.
  • When using a power cord extension it is important that children are not pulling at it or a trip hazard occurs.
  • The appliance must always be unplugged in case of no supervision, prior to assembly, the dismantling or cleaning.

Before using for the first time

  • Remove all packaging materials.
  • Clean the device with a damp cloth.
  • Take care to prevent water from running into the appliance.
  • When your appliance is new you may notice a slight smoking or ordor. This is normal with any heating appliances and will not recur. This does not affect the safety or your appliance.

Cleaning

  • Always switch off, unplug and allow to cool down before cleaning.
  • After cooling the device can be cleaned with a paper towel. There is no need to disassemble the appliance for cleaning.
  • Never immerse appliance in water or any liquid. Do not place in dishwasher.

Operation

The appliance is for warming of foods and dishes.

  • Plug the cord in a 220-240 volt AC outlet only.
  • Turn the temperature knob to your desired temperature. NOTE: Always preheat for 7 minutes.
  • After use, turn the Temperature knob to the “MIN“ position, un-plug the device.
  • Only use the provided cable to connect the plates.

Adjustment

  • max 120°C, heating up time 10 minutes
  • min 60°C, heating up time 4 minutes

If you need a larger surface please connect the second part with the basic part
Important: Don´t use the second part with an separate cable!

The guarantee conditions for this appliance are as defined in our „Instructions for use“ in German.

This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.
Packaging disposal: Do not throw away the package materials. Please put it in the recycling bin.

Gift box: Paper, should be put to the old paper collection point. Plastic packaging material and foils should be collected in the special collection containers.
