Operation

The instant water heater features integrated dry-run protection. The heater only kicks in when water flows through the device and the hot mode has been set.
Use the controller (4) on the side to adjust the flow rate and water temperature. The heating power depends on the flow rate. When in the middle position, the flow rate is limited by a spray jet at the outlet. This position provides the hottest water. Setting the controller to the red area (HOT) increases the flow rate but reduces the water temperature.
Setting the controller to the black area (COLD) shuts the heater off. Turning the controller further into the black area (COLD) increases the flow rate. Water temperature is not displayed in the cold water range.
Turning the controller to either of the two end positions produces an audible click to indicate the maximum flow rate.
When you close the water tap, the instant water heater switches off automatically. When in hot mode, the temperature display turns off.
