Product Usage Instructions:
- Before using the Cast Iron Pan Large for the first time, wash it with warm water and mild soap. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Season the pan by rubbing a thin layer of vegetable oil all over the surface. Heat the pan on low heat for about 10 minutes. Let it cool down completely before wiping off any excess oil with a paper towel.
- To cook with the Cast Iron Pan Large, preheat it on medium heat for a few minutes before adding any food. This will ensure even cooking and prevent sticking.
- Use only wooden, silicone, or nylon utensils to avoid scratching the surface of the pan.
- Clean the pan after each use by wiping it with a paper towel or a soft cloth. Do not use soap or harsh detergents as they can damage the seasoning of the pan.
- If food is stuck to the surface of the pan, fill it with warm water and let it soak for a few minutes before cleaning it.
- Store the Cast Iron Pan Large in a dry place to prevent rusting. You can also apply a thin layer of vegetable oil to the surface before storing it.
Instructions
Before first use
Wash thoroughly by hand. To pre-treat the non-stick coating, rub the inside of the pan with vegetable oil, and heat moderately. Cool properly, and wipe thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Using your pan
Do not fill the pan more than two-thirds full. Do not overheat an empty pan. Do not use the pan on high heat. Do not place the pan on a cooking ring that is larger than the diameter of the pan, and try to avoid heat along the sides. Never leave the pan unattended while using it. Make sure the kitchen is well ventilated during use. For your safety, always use oven mitts or pot holders.
Storage
Do not put the pan away damp. Store it in a clean, dry place.
Warning
To prevent warping, do not let the pan boil dry. Do not let a hot pan come
into contact with cold water or other cold liquids. Due to the rapid heating
of induction pans, care needs to be taken when preheating the pan in order to
avoid overheating. Should the pan overheat, allow it to cool to room
temperature before removing it from the cooking ring. Under certain
conditions, the electromagnetic properties of the heat source and utensils may
cause some noise. When cooking, make sure the handles do not protrude over
other hot plates or gas flames. Never let the handles come into direct contact
with the heat source or flames. Always place the pan in the center of the
induction plate. Check the fitness and safety of your pan before using it
again. In case of damage, do not use the pan again. Some handles and knobs are
attached with screws that may loosen over time. Should this happen, carefully
tighten the screws again.
Cleaning your pan
Allow to properly cool before cleaning. Do not pour cold water or cold liquids
into a hot pan. If food residue remains, fill the pan with warm water, soak
and then simply wash off. Remove stubborn stains with a non-abrasive plastic
sponge or cloth, warm water and soap. Do not soak the pan in water for too
long.
