Thank you for choosing the Professional Power 24V, a high quality transformer- based and stabilized 24 Volt DC power supply made in Germany by Clearaudio.
The Professional Power 24V provides improved filtering over the standard power supply, which delivers a much cleaner power source. Cleaner power and increased ‘headroom’ for Clearaudio’s Innovation and Ovation series turntables, thanks to a smoother motor performance and extended reserves.
The attractive design and improved listening experience will ensure that the Professional Power 24V is a welcome addition to your home audio system.

General information
Check the device for visible damage before using it for the first time.
If the device is damaged, it should not be connected to the mains.
Also, never connect the device if it has been dropped or gotten wet, contact your dealer to have the device inspected.
Never expose the device to rain or moisture.
Never touch the power cord of the device with wet hands.
For your own safety, regular visual inspections of any defective insulation on the connection cable are also recommended. A damaged cable should be replaced immediately by a specialist!
Never pull on the power cable to unplug the device, but directly on the plug!
The inside of the device is maintenance-free, never open the housing or try to repair the device yourself. This can also lead to loss of warranty.
If you do not operate the device for a longer period of time, we recommend disconnecting the power supply from the mains.
Not suitable for children! Scope of delivery may contain small parts that can be swallowed. -
Intended use
The Professional Power 24V is a power supply for 24V based Clearaudio turntables.
The intended use of the Professional Power 24V in accordance with the information provided in the user manual only.
The power supply may only be operated with maximum permissible connection values according to the technical data. Any other use or modification of this product is not intended. -
Location of installation
The device should only be set up on leveled surfaces.
Avoid location with direct sunlight, temperature fluctuations and high humidity. Likewise, avoid placing electronic devices near heaters, heat lamps, or other devices that produce heat.
The device is designed for operation in heated rooms.
Never block the ventilation slots or cover the device with a cloth or similar.
No objects with an open flame may be placed on the device (burning candles or similar).
To prevent overheating of electronic parts never cover or put anything on top of the Professional Power 24V.

Overload
The product is designed to comply with all necessary safety regulations, however you should not leave the device unattended under extreme loads. -
Maintenance
Only use a soft cloth with a smooth surface for cleaning. Never use agressive cleaning detergent. -
Health information
Permanently high volume can lead to various types of hearing damage. Use high volume responsibly! -
Service
During the gurantee period, the balance reference phono may only be repaired by the manufacturer, otherweise the warranty will become void.
All Clearaudio products should only be serviced by specialist retailer.
If despite the high production standard, a repair is necessary, the Professional Power 24V must be sent to Clearaudio through your dealer.
- Transport
Always us the original packaging when transporting the Clearaudio Professional Power 24V.
Be sure to pack the device exactly as it was shipped.
Safe transport is only guaranteed in the original packaging.
When packing, proceed in reverse as described for assembly.

Do not dispose this product together with other waste.

Scope of delivery
Please check the contents of the package:
- Professional Power 24V (with built-in power cable) (approx. 1.45m)
- Power cord with country-specific plug (approx. 2.00m)
- User manual
Beside the delivered items you should also check, whether you have received the correct plug type and the correct version. The voltage required to supply the device (110 V / 230 V) is noted on the underside of the device and on the label on the box.
Please note:
Using the Professional Power 24V with the wrong voltage can damage the device!
Control elements
Initial start
Clearaudio has developed a special packaging for your Professional Power 24V
to ensures a safe transportation.
Please keep this original packing, if you need to ship the unit.
Take the device out of the box and set it up at the desired location.
Before connecting the device to the power supply, make sure that the main
switch on the back is set to “0” (=OFF).
- Connect the device to the mains with the enclosed power cord.
- Then connect your turntable and the Professional Power 24V with the built-in power cable instead of the standard plug-in power supply.
- Now you can turn the main switch on the back to „I“ (=ON).
- The LED light on the front panel of the Professional Power 24V starts to flash for approx. 40 seconds, while the device starts up and the output voltage stabilizes.
- When the LED light shines continuously, the device is ready (ON mode) and you can start the turntable.
Operating modes
4.1 Standby
The „Standby“ mode is characterized by:

4.2 ON
The „ON“ mode is characterized by:
1. The output is activated (the turntable is supplied with power).
2. The LED light shines continuously.
4.3 Dimming the LED
The LED light on the front panel can be darkened or lightened by one level by
long pressing the ON/ OFF/Standby button on the front panel.
Turn off
Due to the Professional Power 24V you can turn off the turntable by pressing the ON / OFF button on the front panel (Standby mode) of the Professional Power 24V. You don’t have to switch off the turntable itself.
You can leave the main switch on the back on, so when you switch the unit on again, the device is immediately ready for use and does not have to start up first.
However, the turntable must be reactivated at the desired speed.
Troubleshooting
If you have a problem with your Professional Power 24V, first check the
possible causes to rule out incorrect operation.
If the error persists, please contact your dealer!
Never try to open the device and/or repair it yourself, this will void the warranty!

When seeking warranty service, it is the responsibility of the consumer to
establish proof and date of purchase.
Your purchase receipt or invoice is adequate for such proof.
