Product Information

The product is a dishwasher with multiple functions and indicators. It has a display screen and various keys for operating the machine. It also has different program options for different types of dishes and levels of soiling. The machine has an auto door open indicator, filter cleaning function indicator, guard function indicator, delay time/program time indicator, delayed start indicator, end of program indicator, rinse aid indicator, salt indicator, liquid detergent dosing indicator, and tablet detergent indicator (depending on the model). Product Usage Instructions

To operate the machine:

  1. Read the Safety Instructions section first.
  2. Press the On/Off key to turn on the machine.
  3. Use the Menu key to access the settings menu.
  4. Use the Time Delay Selection/Menu Direction Selection keys to navigate through the menu options.
  5. Use the Selection/Confirmation key to select the desired option.
  6. Press the Start/Pause/Cancel key to start, pause, or cancel a program.
  7. Use the Function Selection keys to select a specific function such as the Hygiene Intense function, SteamGloss function, Deep Wash function, or Fast+ function.
  8. Use the Programme Selection keys to select a specific program such as Auto, AquaFlex, Intensive, Eco, Delicate, Quick&Shine (#), Mini (#), or Prewash.

To adjust the water softening system:

  1. Determine the water hardness in your region using a test strip.
  2. After switching on the machine, press and hold the Menu key for 3 seconds. Some models may require pressing the Menu key once to enter the settings menu.
  3. Use the Time Delay Selection/Menu Direction Selection keys to navigate until the water hardness setting indicator becomes on (r position will be displayed).
  4. Use the Selection key to adjust the water hardness level according to the hardness of the supply water. Refer to the Water hardness level setting table for the correct settings.
  5. Press the On/Off key to save the setting.

Degree of Soiling

| Determines the soiling degree of the dishes and sets the temperature and amount of the washing water as well as the washing time automatically. Suitable for all types of dishes.| It is the most suitable washing programme for daily mixed dishes including plastic items.

The consumption values shown in the table were determined under standard conditions. Differences may therefore occur under practical conditions.

  • Reference program for testing institutes.

The tests in accordance with EN 50242/60436 must be carried out with a full water softener salt dispenser and a full rinse aid reservoir, and using the test program. The values given for programs other than the Eco 50°C program are indicative only. (#) Additional functions might cause changes in program durations.

Adjusting the water-softening system

The washing, rinsing, and drying performance of your dishwasher will improve when the water softening system is adjusted correctly.

To adjust the system, first, learn the water hardness in your region and adjust as indicated below.

  • Unpack the test strip.
  • Open the tap and let the water flow for approx. 1 minute.
  • Dip the test strip into the water for 1 second.
  • Take out the strip from the water and shake it.
  • Wait for 1 minute.
  • Make the necessary adjustment according to the test strip.

After detecting the water hardness

  1. After switching on your machine, press and hold the Menu key for 3 seconds.
    • Some models require pressing the Menu key once to enter the settings menu
  2. Using the <- and +> keys, proceed until the water hardness setting indicator becomes on (“r” position will be displayed).
  3. Using the Selection key, adjust the water hardness level according to the hardness of the supply water. For the correct setting please see the “Water hardness level setting table”.
  4. Press the On / Off key to save the setting.

Perform the same hardness level adjustment that you have set on the control panel also with the regeneration adjustment switch. For example, if you have adjusted to “3” in the control panel, also set the regeneration adjustment switch to 3. BEKO-150-0086-0100_AA-Dishwasher-fig-10

  • If the hardness level of the water that you use is above 50°dH or if you are using well water, then it is recommended to use filter and water purification devices.
  • If the hardness level of the water that you use is below 7°dH, there is no need to use salt in your dishwasher. In this case, the Salt Indicator light on the control panel of your dishwasher will light continuously.
  • If the water hardness is set to level 1, the Salt Indicator will light continuously although it is not necessary to use salt. If you use salt under this condition, salt will not be consumed and the lamp will not illuminate.
    • When moving, you will need to set the water hardness level of your dishwasher again according to the information above, depending on the water hardness of the place you have moved to. If the water hardness level of your machine is adjusted previously, your machine will display the most recent hardness level adjustment.
