Before using the device for the fi rst time, please read the operating instructions through carefully and keep them for future reference. If the device is given to someone else, these operating instructions should also be handed over with it. They form an integral part of the device. The manufacturer and importer do not accept any liability if the information in these operating instructions is not complied with.

Intended Use

  • This device is intended to be used to suck up wet dirt and small amounts of liquid on smooth surfaces.
  • On no account should the device be used to suck up the following:
    • dry dust
    • glowing ash, cigarette ends, matches, etc.
    • nflammable or explosive substances
    • very fine dust (e.g. concrete dust), ash or toner
    • pointed, hard objects such as large pieces of broken glass
  • The device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
  • Use the device only for the specifi ed purpose and as described in the operating instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
  • The warranty does not cover faults caused by incorrect handling, damage, calcifi ca-tion or repair attempts. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

Safety Instructions

WARNING: Note all safety notices, instructions, illustrations and technical data provided with this device. Failure to follow the safety notices and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and / or injuries.

  • This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or have received instruction on how to use the device safely and have understood the dangers resulting from failure to comply with the relevant safety precautions.
  • Children must not play with the device.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by children, unless they are older than 8 years of age and are su-pervised.
  • Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept away from the device and the mains adapter. Improper use can lead to injuries and electric shock.
  • The device must always be switched off and disconnected from the mains power when it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling, filling or emptying the water tank or cleaning the device.
  • Charge up the battery only with the mains adapter supplied with it. Do not use the mains adapter supplied with the device to char-ge up any other devices.
  • Always check the device and accessories for damage before putting them into operation. Do not use them if they are damaged!
  • Do not take the device apart and do not make any modifications to the device. If the device or the connecting cable are damaged, these parts must be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service department or a similarly qualified person (e.g. specialist workshop) in order to avoid any hazards.

DANGER – Danger of Electric Shock

  • Use and store the device only in closed spaces.
  • Do not operate the device in rooms with high humidity.
  • Never immerse the device or the connecting cable in water or other liquids. Ensure that the device and the connecting cable cannot fall into water or become wet.
  •  If the device does fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not attempt to pull the device out of the water while it is connected to the mains power!
  • Never touch the device and the connecting cable with wet hands when these com-ponents are connected to the mains power.

WARNING – Danger of Injury!

  • Keep children and animals away from plastic bags and films. There is a danger of suffocation.
  • Make sure that the connecting cable is always kept out of the reach of young children and animals. There is a danger of strangulation.
  • Keep animals, hair, jewellery, wide clothing, fingers and all other body parts away from the nozzles of the device. They could become stuck to the device. Should the vacuum cleaner become stuck, switch the device off immediately.
  • Make sure that the connecting cable does not present a trip hazard. It may not hang down from the surface on which the device is placed in order to prevent the device from being pulled down.

WARNING – Danger from Rechargeable Batteries

  • Do not take apart the main unit with built-in battery. Protect the device from: fi re, high temperatures of over 50°C, direct sunlight and sub-zero temperatures. The battery could ignite or explode. Do not store the device in a vehicle where it might be exposed to extreme temperatures.
  • If the battery leaks, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous membranes to come into contact with the battery acid. There is a danger of burns. If you do touch battery acid, rinse the affected areas with abundant clear water straight away and seek medical assistance immediately.
  • Do not use the device if the battery is leaking.

WARNING – Danger of Fire!

  • Do not charge up the device in the vicinity of highly flammable materials (curtains, textiles, etc.).
  • Do not cover the device during operation or charging in order to prevent it from catching fi re. Do not insert anything into the ventilation openings of the device and make sure that they do not become clogged.

NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property

  • When you pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket, always pull on the mains adapter and never the mains cable!
  • Never pull or carry the device by the connecting cable. !
  • The device should only be used if it has been completely and correctly assembled!If the dirt were to get inside the device, this could damage the motor.
  • Do not use the device if it has malfunctioned or sharp foreign bodies (e.g. shards of glass) have been sucked up.
  • Make sure that the connecting cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Do not wind the mains cable around the mains adapter.
  • Protect the device from heat, fl ames, sub-zero temperatures, persistent moisture and impacts.
  • Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that there is no interference that may prevent the device from working and to avoid damage.
  • Do not place or lay any heavy objects on the connecting cable.

Check the items supplied for completeness and the components for transport damage. If you fi nd any damage, do not use the device but contact our customer service department.
Remove any possible films, stickers or transport protection from the device. Never re-move the rating plate and any possible warnings!

Charging Up the Battery

PLEASE NOTE!

  • Only connect the mains adapter to a plug socket that is properly installed and mat-ches its technical data. The plug socket must be readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated.
  • Pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket if an error occurs during charging or before a thunderstorm.
  • It is essential that you charge up the battery fully before you fi rst use the de-vice in order to achieve the maximum charging capacity.
  • If the battery is fully discharged during use, it must be fully charged up again before it is next used
  1. Connect the barrel connector of the mains adapter (7) to the main unit.

  2. Connect the mains adapter to a plug socket. The control lamp on the On / Off (1) switch then lights up blue and fl ashes while the device is charging.

  3. Allow the battery of the device to charge up for around 3 – 3.5 hours. The control lampon the On / Off is lit up permanently in blue when the device is fully charged.

  4. First disconnect the mains adapter from the mains power and then from the main unit.

  5. When the battery has run out, the control lamp on the On / Off alternates between red and blue and the device turns off .

Assembling the Device

  1.  If you have not already done so, place the nozzle with scraper lip (4) onto the device:
    • Plug the nozzle as far as it will go into the suction opening on the front of the collecting container (5) and check that it fi ts securely. The release button (3) must be heard to lock in place.
  2.  If you need to, plug the telescopic rod (6) into the opening on top of the device. The locking catch must be heard to lock in place.
  3. Adjust the telescopic rod to the length you require:
    • Twist the top part of the extension rod anticlockwise to release the telescopic rod.
    • Extend the rod to the length you require.
    • Twist the top part clockwise to fi x the telescopic rod in place.
      When you want to remove the nozzle again, press the release button and at the same time pull the nozzle out of the suction opening.

Use

PLEASE NOTE!

  •  Empty and clean the collecting container after each use or when the maximal fi ll level (MAX marking) is reached. Do not overfi ll the collecting container!
  • Test the wiping attachment on a non-visible spot before using it on sensitive (high-gloss) surfaces.
  • Never clean screens (televisions, computer monitors etc.) with the device. Electrical devices of this type are not resistant to moisture.
  • Switch on the device only once you have ensured that the suction nozzle has been inserted correctly.
  • Always switch the device off fi rst before you remove the nozzle!
  • Do not use the device when it is connected to the mains power supply.
  1. Press the On / Off switch (1) to switch on the device. The operating lamp lights up blue. The normal suction mode is switched on.
  2. Press the On / Off switch again to switch to strong suction mode. The operating lamp lights up red.
  3. Guide the nozzle (4) over the surface to be cleaned from top to bottom. During use, check whether the collecting container (5) is full. If this is the case, it needs to be emptied.
  4. Hold down the On / Off switch for around 3-5 seconds to switch off the device.
  5. To ensure optimum performance of the device, empty the collecting container after every use (see the “Cleaning and Storage” chapter) and charge up the battery (see the “Charging Up the Battery“ chapter).

Use of the Spray Bottle with Wiping Attachment

  1. Fill the spray bottle: Unscrew the spray head from the spray bottle and fi ll the bottle with cleaning agent and water in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.

  2. Place the wiping attachment (a) onto the spray head (b): To do this, press together the locking lugs on the wiping attachment and plug them into the holder on the spray head. They must fi rmlyengage.

  3.  Stretch the wiping cloth (d) onto the wiping attachment with the aid of the rubber loops and secure it in place with the Velcro fastener.

  4. Close the bottle again.

  5. Move the spray nozzle to SPRAY (spray mist) or STREAM.

  6. Spray the cleaning product evenly onto the surface which is to be cleaned. To do this, press the spray lever (c) of the bottle.

  7. Detach the dirt using the wiping cloth. Note: If necessary, rinse out the wiping cloth under running water!

  8. Suck the cleaning liquid up from the surface using the device.

Cleaning and Storage

PLEASE NOTE!

  • Switch off the device before you clean it and make sure that it is not connected to the mains power.
  • Accessories that are cleaned with water must be completely dry when they are inserted back into the device!
  • Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads. These could damage the surfaces.
  • The collecting container (5) must be emptied at the latest when it is full, and after each use (see the “Emptying and Cleaning the Collecting Container” section).
  • Clean the housing if necessary using a damp, soft cloth. Dry them with a soft cloth.
  • Wash the wiping cloth after every use in accordance with the washing instructions.
  • Check the mains adapter (7) and its mains cable for damage at regular intervals.
  • Keep the device ready for operation. Charge up the battery after each use (see the “Charging Up the Battery” chapter).

Emptying and Cleaning the Collecting Container

  1. Switch off the device.
  2. Open the collecting container (5) carefully by pulling out the seal plug.
  3. Pour the cleaning water which has been sucked up into a drain.
  4. Rinse out the collecting container by sucking up clear water using the suction function (see the “Use” chapter) and then pouring it out again. Repeat this process several times if the collecting container is very dirty.
  5. Let all parts dry completely in the air before you put them away.
  6. Seal the collecting container again using the seal plug.

Storage

  • For practical storage, you can use the mounting bracket (2) to hang the device on a hook or similar fastening.
  • Store the device and all accessories in a cool, dry place which is protected from direct sunlight and is out of the reach of children and animals.

Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the customer service department.

Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!

Problem Possible cause Solution

Disposal

  • Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so that it can be recycled.
  • The battery should be removed prior to disposal of the device and disposed of separately from the device. To protect the environment, non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with regular household waste, but must be taken to suitable collection points.
  • This device is governed by the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Do not dispose of this device as normal domestic waste, but rather in an environmentally friendly manner via an officially approved waste disposal company.

Removing the Battery

PLEASE NOTE!

  • The main unit may only be opened for the disposal of the battery.
  • The battery must not be taken apart, thrown into a fi re, immersed in liquids or short-circuited.

This device contains a built-in battery, which must be removed prior to disposal of the used device.

  1. The battery compartment is located in the main unit. Undo the screws.
  2. Open the main unit, you may need to employ a little force or a tool (e.g. screwdriver). Take care when opening the main unit, short-circuits must be avoided.
  3. Undo the clip on the connecting cable and take out the battery.
