Intended use

  • This device is suitable for cleaning floors and other hard surfaces, such as tiles, parquet flooring, stone and more. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
  • The device is intended for private, non-commercial use.
  • Use the device only as described in these operating instructions. Any other use is regarded as improper use.
  • The guarantee does not cover any defects caused by improper use, damage, or attempted repairs. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

Safety instructions

  • This device may be used by children from 8 years of age, or by persons with physical, sensory or mental impairments, or lack of experience and / or knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed regarding the safe use of the device and have  understood the dangers that could arise.
  • Children are not allowed to play with the device.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
  • Keep the device and charger adapter cord out of reach of children younger than 8 years old and animals. Improper operation may result in injury and electric shocks.
  • The device must always be turned off or disconnected from the mains before assembly, disassembly, or cleaning, or when not in use.
  • Only use the charging adapter included to charge the battery. Do not use the charging adapter included with any other devices
  • Never immerse the device or the charging adapter in water or other liquids, and ensure that they do not fall into the water or become wet.
  • Do not disassemble the device. Do not make any changes to the device! If the device or the charging adapter are damaged, they must be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service or a similarly qualified body (e. g. specialist workshop) to avoid hazards.


DANGER – shock hazard

  • Only charge and store in closed areas.
  • Should the device fall into water while charging, immediately disconnect the power supply. Do not try to pull the device out of the water while it is connected to the  mains!
  • Never touch the device or charging adapter with wet hands if these components are connected to the mains.
  • When using the device outdoors, ensure that it is not exposed to rain.

WARNING – risk of injury!

  • Risk of suffocation! Keep children and animals away from packaging materials.
  • Risk of strangulation! Make sure that the cord for the charging adapter is always out of reach of small children and animals.
  • Danger of chemical burn from battery acid! If the battery leaks, avoid contact with the battery acid. Wear protective gloves if necessary. Should this occur, rinse the affected areas immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention immediately.
  • Risk of falling! Make sure that the connected cord for the charging adapter is not a tripping hazard.
  • Do not charge or use the device if it is damaged.

WARNING – fi re hazard

  • Do not use or charge the device in rooms where there are highly flammable substances or poisonous or explosive vapours.
  • Do not cover the device during operation or charging, as this can cause the device to catch fire.

NOTICE – risk of material and property damage

  • Only connect the charging adapter to properly installed outlets that match the technical data of the device. The socket must also be easily accessible after connection, so that the network connection can be quickly disconnected.
  • Unplug the charging adapter from the outlet if a malfunction occurs during charging or before a storm.
  • The device must be switched off when the charging adapter is inserted into or removed from the socket. When unplugging the charging adapter, always do so from the head. Never pull on the cable.
  • Ensure that the cord is not crushed, kinked or laid over sharp edges, and that it does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Never wrap the cord tightly around the device or charging adapter (danger of cord breakage).
  • The attachments must be completely dry before they are reattached to the  device after they have been cleaned.
  • Protect the device and all of its accessories from sources of heat, open fl ames, shock, strong temperature fl uctuations and persistent humidity (with the exception of the washable cloths).
  • The battery may not be disassembled, thrown into fi re, submerged in liquids or shorted.
  • Only use original accessories from the manufacturer so as not to impair the functioning of the device and to prevent possible damage.

Accessories

  • Adapter plate (large) (4): To be used with the large microfibre cloth (11). Ideal for cleaning large areas of tile, wood or stone flooring, as well as many other outdoor and indoor surfaces.
  • Adapter plate (small) (6): To be used with the small microfibre cloth (5) or nylon cloth (3). Ideal for cleaning edges and corners, as well as other surfaces that are difficult to reach, for example in the bathroom, kitchen or on the terrace.
  • Brush adapter plate (10): Ideal for removing stubborn dirt from tile, wood or stone flooring, as well as many other outdoor and indoor surfaces.

Before first use

  • Before using the device, remove all transport protection or advertising. Never remove the type plate or any warnings!
  • Charge the battery (see the chapter, “Charging the battery”).
  • Remove coarse dirt from the floors and surfaces you want to clean.

Charging the battery

PLEASE NOTE!

  • Short-circuit hazard! Do not insert conductive objects (such as a screwdriver) in the charging socket.
  •  Remove the charging adapter from the outlet when the device is not being  charged.
  • The battery must be fully charged before powering on for the fi rst time so that the maximum charge capacity can be obtained. It takes between 10 and 12 hours to charge the device for the fi rst time.
  1. Remove the silicone plug from the charging socket (16) on the motor unit (2).
  2. Insert the coaxial plug of the charging adapter into the charging socket.
  3. Insert the charging adapter into a properly installed, easily accessible wall outlet. The indicator lights (13) will light up one by one.
  4. Charge the battery for around 5 hours. The indicator lights will go out when the battery is fully charged.
  5. Unplug the charging adapter from the mains first, and then from the device.
  6. Reinsert the silicone plug into the charging socket.

Assembly

The motor unit (2) can be used as a handheld device as well as with the telescopic rod (9).

Attaching / removing the telescopic rod

  • Insert the motor unit into the frame (7). The safety catch must audibly lock into place on the right and left. Check to make sure that it is securely in place.
  • To remove the motor unit, press the safety catch outwards. This will release the motor unit so it can be detached.

Attaching / removing the adapter plates

  • The motor unit (2) contains 6 magnets (15) on its underside. The adapter plates can be attached to these magnets. Simply select the adapter plate you want to use and place it on the motor unit. When doing this, make sure the arrows on the motor unit and the adapter plate are placed over one another and point towards each other.
  • To remove the adapter plate, simply pull it from the motor unit.

Attaching / removing the cloths

  • Select the cloth you want to use and attach it to the corresponding adapter plate with the hook-and-loop fastener.
  • To remove the cloth, hold the adapter plate and pull the cloth off.

PLEASE NOTE!

  • Only use the device if it has been assembled completely and correctly.
  • Turn the device off before attaching or removing any accessories.
  • Do not use the device if it is still connected to the charging adapter or electricity source.

Switch the device off after each cleaned surface, as this will signifi cantly increase
the operating time per battery charge.

  1. Attach the accessory you want to use to the motor unit (2; see the “Assembly” chapter).
  2. Press the on / off switch (12) on the motor unit to turn the device on. The mount for the adapter plates (14) along with the attached adapter plates will begin to vibrate.
  3. Guide the device over the area to be cleaned.
  4. Press the on / off switch again to turn the device off .
  5. Clean the device and the accessories used after each use (see the “Cleaning and storage” chapter).

Cleaning and storage


PLEASE NOTE!

  • Make sure that the device is turned off before cleaning it.
  • Ensure that no liquids enter the motor unit when cleaning the device.
  • Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaners for cleaning. They can damage the surfaces.

The cloths may become discoloured over time. This is normal and will not impact its functionality. If a cloth is damaged or worn, it must be replaced.

  • If needed, clean off the motor unit (2), the telescopic rod (9) and adapter plates (4, 6) with a damp, soft cloth. Dry with a soft cloth.
  • Regularly remove hair and lint from the brush adapter plate (10) and, if needed, clean with warm water and a mild cleaning detergent. Allow to dry completely after cleaning.
  • Observe the washing tags of the microfibre cloths (5, 11) when washing them. Do not use fabric softener.
  • Simply tap the contents out of the nylon cloth when using it dry (3). When using it moist, clean with clear, warm water.
  • Regularly check the charging adapter and its cord for damages.
  • All of the parts must be completely dry before reassembling and storing.
  • Store the device and accessories in a dry place away from the sun and out of reach of children and animals

Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, check if you can fi x the problem yourself first. If these steps do not solve the problem, contact customer service.


Do not try to repair an electrical device yourself!
