Brush adapter
The brush adapter is mounted directly on the tile nozzle. Use the brush adapter to dust delicate objects such as picture frames, lamp shades, keyboards, books etc.

Mains adapter and wall bracket (incl. mounting material)

Mounting the wall bracket

PLEASE NOTE!

  • Use the fastening material supplied to hang up the wall bracket. If you are unsure whether the fastening material supplied is suitable for your wall, seek advice from a specialist stockist.
  • Hang the wall bracket in a secure and solid place near a socket to which the mains adapter can be connected.
  • Before drilling, ensure that there are no pipes or cables behind the intended drilling point.
  1. Place the wall bracket on the wall and mark the drill holes.
  2. Drill holes into the wall and insert wall plugs.
  3. Screw the wall bracket onto the wall.
  4. Secure the barrel plug of the mains adapter in the wall bracket.
  5. When hanging the battery-operated vacuum cleaner in the wall bracket, the barrel plug is inserted in the connector jack.

Charging Up the Battery

PLEASE NOTE!

  • Only connect the mains adapter to a plug socket that is properly installed and matches its technical data. The plug socket must be readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated.
  • Pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket if an error occurs during charging or before a thunderstorm.
  • Risk of short-circuit! Do not insert any conductive objects (e. g. screwdrivers or similar) into the connector jack of the motor unit.
  • Pull the mains adapter out of the socket if you do not use it for a prolonged period of time.
  • It is essential that you charge up the battery fully before you first use the device in order to achieve the maximum charging capacity. If the battery is fully discharged during use, it must be fully charged up again before it is next used.
  1. First connect the mains adapter to the connector jack in the motor unit (if applicable, hang the motor unit in the wall bracket) and then connect it to a properly installed, easily accessible socket. The charge control light will now light up.
  2. Let the rechargeable battery of the device charge for approx. 10 – 14 hours in order to reach the maximum charge. The charge control light will illuminate as long as the device is connected to the main supply.
  3. Disconnect the adapter from the mains power fi rst and then from the device.

Assembly

Attaching/Removing Nozzles

  • Plug the nozzle you want as far as it will go into the suction opening on the front of the dust bin and check that it fi ts securely.
  • To remove a nozzle, pull it out of the suction opening.

Removing/inserting the dust bin

  • Removal : Hold the device with the dust bin down and take hold of the dust bin. Press the release button and remove the dust bin from the motor unit.
  • Insertion : A catch is located on the bottom side of the motor unit. Insert it in the corresponding slit in the dust bin. Then push the two parts of the device together at the top until the locking mechanism audibly locks into place. If necessary, the release button must be depressed in the process. Then check whether the dust bin is properly seated.

Use

PLEASE NOTE!

  • Always switch off the device before replacing any accessories.
  • Pay attention to the dust bin’s MAX mark. If the mark is reached during use, empty the dust bin. The fi lter must also be cleaned regularly to prevent the motor from being overloaded.
  • IMPORTANT: If there is liquid in the dust bin, do not over-fi ll it or do not turn the top side of the device down to prevent water from entering into the rectangular vent in the insert and ending up in the motor!
  • Every time after cleaning a surface, switch off the device; this will significantly increase the operating time per charge.
  • Do not use the device if it is connected to the mains adapter.
  1. Attach one of the nozzles to the suction opening. You can, however, also use the battery-operated vacuum cleaner without a nozzle.
  2. Turn the battery-operated vacuum cleaner on with the On / Off switch.
  3. Move the nozzle or the suction opening over the surface you want to clean.
  4. Switch the battery-operated vacuum cleaner off with the On / Off switch after use
  5. Empty the dust bin (see chapter “Cleaning and Storage”) and charge the battery (see chapter “Charging Up the Battery”) after use.

Cleaning and Storage

PLEASE NOTE!

  • Switch off the device before you clean it.
  • Keep the main unit away from water or other liquids to prevent electric shocks.
  • The filter is neither machine-washable, dishwasher-safe nor suitable for tumble drying. Never use soap or other cleaners to clean the filter. Otherwise, this would damage the filter.
  • Only ever dry the fi lter in the air, and never use a hair dryer to do so!
  • Accessories that are cleaned with water must be completely dry when they are inserted back into the device!
  • Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads. These could damage the surfaces.
  • The dust bin must be emptied after every use or no later than when it has been filled up to the corresponding mark (see “Emptying the dust bin and cleaning the fi lter”).
  • If needed, clean the casing of the motor unit with a damp, soft cloth. Dry it off with a soft cloth.
  • Regularly remove hair and lint from the nozzles.
  • For easy storage, attach the device with its suction opening facing downwards on the wall bracket.

Emptying the dust bin and cleaning the filter

  1. Carefully take the dust bin out of the motor unit (see chapter “Assembly” – “Removing/inserting the dust bin”).
  2. Pull the fi lter out of the dust bin.
  3. Clean the dust bin and the filter:
  4. If you have sucked up dry dirt, empty the dust bin over a rubbish bin. Tap out the filter. Then wipe them down using a damp cloth.
  5. If there is wet dirt in the dust bin, rinse these parts under running water.
  6. Allow all parts to air dry completely before assembling them. PLEASE NOTE: Do not in any case put the fi lter back in place if they are still wet. Reverse the steps to assemble them.
