Installation and operation manual
Q.HOME CORE WiFi
INSTALLATION
Ensure all power sources have been turned off at least 5 minutes prior to
installation.
a) Remove the cover of the “Upgrade/Dongle” port at the right side of the
inverter. And install the Q.HOME CORE WiFi.
b) Screw the antenna to the bottom of the shell.
-P External antenna
c) Plug the Q.HOME CORE WiFi into the correct port of the inverter.
Make sure that the dongle is plugged with the QR code side up.
MONITORING
a) Q.HOME CORE WiFi Registration
Step 1: Use your smart phone or tablet to scan the below QR code or search for
the keyword “Q.HOME” in browser to download the Monitoring App.

Step 2: Select the Setting button on the upper left corner of the Monitoring
App main screen to choose the language.
Step 3: Touch “Create a new account” at the bottom of the Monitoring App main
screen.
Step 4: Type in or scan the Registration No. and type in the other required
information to complete the registration.
b) Wi-Fi Connection confiuration
Step 1: Login with your account and turn to Account page in the app.
Step 2: Click on “Wi-Fi Connection”.
Step 3: Type in or scan the Registration No. of the Q.HOME CORE WiFi. Then touch Next and agree to join the network of the Web-monitoring platform.
The Wi-Fi connection requires Android 10 or higher system or iOS system.
Step 4: Type in your home Wi-Fi SSID and password and set up.*5GHz Wi-Fi is
currently not supported.
Step 5: Wi-Fi setting successfully completed.
Local Mode
Use your smart phone to connect the Q.HOME CORE WiFi signal (WiFi Xxxxxxxxx).
Then select Local and type in the password (initially same as the Registration
No.) to access the Local Mode in the Monitoring App.
Monitoring Website
Step 1: Ensure that your computer or laptop is connected to an internet
network.
Step 2: Open a browser and enter “www.portal-qcells.us“.
Step 3: Select the language, then click “Sign Up” to create a new customer
account.
Step 4: Complete the registration and login.

WARRANTY REGULATION AND LIABILITY
Terms and Conditions
Qcells grants a standard 24-month warranty. The terms of this warranty begin
from the date marked on the purchase invoice. Qcells will only perform
warranty service when the faulty unit is returned to Qcells along with a copy
of the invoice and proof of purchase issued by the reseller.
In addition, the type label of the unit must be fully legible.
If these requirements are not fulfilled, Qcells reserves the right to deny
warranty service.
Exclusion of Liability
Warranty claims are excluded for direct or indirect damage due to:
a) Use of unit in ways not intended, improper or substandard installation,
improper operation and unauthorized modification to the units, or repair
attempts.
b) Missing warranty card and serial number.
c) Operating the units with defective protective equipment.
d) Influence of foreign objects and force majeure.
e) Inadequate ventilation.
f) Non-observance to relevant safety instructions.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Prior to installation, ensure all power connected to the inverter has been cut
off.
Keep away from flammable, explosive materials.
Do not dismantle or scrap by force.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with this
appliance.

and disposal. By ensuring the appropriate disposal of this product you also
help in preventing potentially negative consequences for the environment and
human health. The recycling of materials helps preserve our natural

RF exposure warning
This equipment must be installed and operated in accordance with provided
instructions and the antenna used for this transmitter must be installed to
provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons and must not
be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or
transmitter. End-users and installers must be provide with antenna
installation instructions and transmitter operating conditions for satisfying
RF exposure compliance.
