General Instructions

PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE PARTICULARLY BEFORE THE FIRST USE. A misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that you use the appliance for the use for which it is designed; we refuse any responsibilities as for the damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.

  1. Before use, check that the voltage of your wall outlet correspond to the rated voltage manner.

  2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard (*).

  3. Note when unpacking the appliance:
    DANGER for children. Danger to life through suffocation!

  4. Keep the packaging material away from children.

  5. To prevent a life-threatening electrical shock:
    Do not use this appliance nearby water!
    Warning: Do not use this product near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

  6. When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off.

  7. Never immerse the appliance in water or in any other liquids.

  8. Do not use the appliance while taking a bath.

  9. Water and other liquids represent a danger. If the appliance falls into water, pull out the main plug immediately.

  10. Do not reach into the water!

  11. Pull the mains plug from the socket:
    • When a disturbance occurs.
    • Before you clean the appliance.
    • If you will not be using the appliance for a longer period.
    • After each use.

  12. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

  13. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  14. Children shall not play with the appliance.

  15. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

  16. Make sure that the cable is not pinched in cupboard doors or pulled over hot surfaces. Otherwise the cable insulation may become damaged.

  17. Never cover the fan or air inlet. Ensure that the air inlet remains free from fluff and hair. Danger of fire!

  18. Also note that a blocked air inlet causes the hair dryer to switch off automatically.

  19. Keep jewelry chains away from the air inlet so that they are not drawn into the appliance.

  20. The cable must not be twisted, pulled, kinked or wound around the dryer. If the cable is twisted, untwist it before use.

  21. Before use, check the cable for damages.

  22. Regularly check the appliance and above all the cable for defective and porous locations.

  23. To avoid breaks, never wind the cable around the appliance.

  24. Watch out that the plug never contacts hot parts of the appliance.

  25. Only use the appliance when the appliance, cable and plug show no sign of damage. Never use a defective appliance.

  26. Never try to repair a defective appliance yourself.

  27. Danger of burning! The air outlet or attachments can become very hot. Do not touch them during operation. Allow them to first cool before changing them.

  28. Danger of fire due to high temperatures. Do not use on artificial hair.

  29. Danger of death due to electrical shock!
    Never touch hair dryer with wet hands when connecting it to the electrical mains or during mains operation!
    Withdraw the mains plug from the socket before you clean the appliance.

  30. Overheat protection!
    Should the appliance overheat, i.e. due to blockage of air intakes, the appliance will switch itself off automatically. Please switch off the appliance entirely and let it cool for about 6 to 15 minutes. Once cooled down, the appliance can be used again.

  31. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
    • Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments
    • Farm houses
    • By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments
    • Bed and breakfast type environments

(*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.
WARNING
The following should be noted to ensure trouble-free operation:

  • Only operate the appliance according to the details on the nameplate.
  • Do not subject the hair dryer to temperatures below 10°C and above 35°C.
  • Thoroughly clean the appliance after each use.
  • Allow the appliance to run for approx.3-5 minutes before using it for the first time. During this time, a slight odor may arise due to manufacturing process. This is harmless and only occurs when first used.
  • Never place the appliance into water or any other liquid.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

  1. Always ensure that hair dryer is disconnected from the mains supply before cleaning.
  2. Use a damp cloth for cleaning and wipe dry. This will help preserve the original finish of your hair dryer.
  3. Abrasive cleansers should not be used.
  4. Frequently clean out any hair or fluff that becomes stuck in the inlet filter.
  5. Cleaning can avoid overheating.

USE

  1. Always ensure the switch is set to OFF position before plugging the unit into the power outlet.
  2. Use the high setting for drying hair, and use low setting for styling.
  3. If the hair dryer stops for any reason, unplug it from the mains socket and let it cool down.
  4. Switch control:
    Temperature switch
    1 = LOW: Low warm temperature
    2 = MIDDLE: Middle hot temperatur
    3 = HIGH: High hot temperature| Speed switch
    0 = OFF Position
    1 = LOW: Low speed
    2 = HIGH: High speed
    ---|---

Cool shot: press cold function button with above operation, you will get comfortable cool wind.

  1. The concentrator can be used on or without.
  2. Switch off when finished using, then remove the plug from the socket.
  3. For Ion setting, the Ion function is automatically operated during using.

ION FUNCTION

Using the hair dryer makes the hair electric. To avoid it, the ionic function diffuses negative ions to speed up drying. The hair becomes softer, more shiny and the hairstyle mastered.
