Thank You for purchasing a CENTEK brand product. We guarantee flawless function of this item, provided the guidelines of its operation are observed.

PURPOSE OF THE APPLIANCE: for cooking food by heating.

This device is intended for use in domestic and similar conditions, in particular:

  • in kitchen areas for staff in shops, offices and other industrial conditions;
  • on agricultural farms;
  • clients in hotels, motels and other residential infrastructure;
  • in private boarding houses.

SECURITY MEASURES

In order to avoid situations that are dangerous to life and health, as well as premature failure of the device, it is necessary to strictly observe the following conditions:

  1. Before connecting to the mains, make sure that the operating voltage of the device corresponds to the voltage in the electrical network.
  2. To avoid the risk of fire, do not use adapters when connecting the appliance to an electrical outlet.
  3. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
  4. Never leave the appliance running unattended.
  5. Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface so that access to the electrical outlet is free.
  6. Use the appliance in places with good ventilation. In order to avoid fire, do not place the appliance near curtains or curtains and do not cover it during operation.
  7. Beware of steam escaping from the gaps between the working forms, be careful, in order to avoid burns, do not bring your hands and do not place other open areas of the body close to the edges of the working forms.
  8. The surface of the heating element remains hot after the device is shut down.
  9. Never remove products from the appliance with sharp objects, as they may damage the non-stick coating of the working molds.
  10. The device is not designed to operate from an external timer or a separate remote control system.
  11. Do not move the appliance until it has completely cooled down.
  12. Disconnect the appliance from the mains every time before cleaning, and also if you do not use it.
  13. Do not allow the power cord to hang from the table, as well as its contact with hot surfaces or sharp edges of kitchen furniture.
  14. When disconnecting the plug of the power cord from the electrical outlet, do not pull the cord, but hold on to the plug with your hand.
  15. Do not touch the plug of the power cord with wet hands.
  16. Do not use the appliance in the immediate vicinity of the kitchen sink, do not expose it to moisture.
  17. If the power cord or any other part of the device is damaged, immediately disconnect the device from the electrical network and contact the manufacturer’s service center. In case of unskilled interference with the device device or non-compliance with the rules of operation of the device listed in this manual, the warranty is canceled.
  18. Special conditions for transportation (transportation), sale: no.
  19. The device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of life experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed to use the device by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to prevent playing with the appliance.
  20. Do not allow children to play with plastic bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!
  21. It is forbidden to use the device if the mains plug or electrical cord is damaged, if it works intermittently, as well as after it falls. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.

  23. Use the appliance only with the proper connector.
  24. If you wish to transfer the device to another person for use, please transfer it together with this instruction.

WORKING PROCEDURE

OPERATIONAL GUIDANCE

POWER SWITCH (15)

  • In standby, power switch is on breathing flash state.
  • In working mode, power switch is lighting.
  • Touch power switch to turn on the power.
  • Touch power switch to stop prompt tone.
  • Press 3 seconds to turn off the power.

TEMPERATURE REGULATORS FOR UPPER PLATE (14)

  • Turn on power,temperature regulators flashing.
  • The machine is working condition, temperature regulators are normal on.
  • Each touch increase/decrease 5 degrees.
  • Long press continuous increase/decrease.

TEMPERATURE REGULATORS FOR LOWER PLATE (19)

  • Turn on power, temperature regulators flashing.
  • The machine is working condition, temperature regulators are normal on.
  • Each touch increase/decrease 5 degrees.
  • Long press continuous increase/decrease.

TEMPERATURE DISPLAY FOR UPPER PLATE (13)

  • Power on indicates 000 ⁰C.
  • Temperature setting range 90-230 ⁰C.
  • After temperature is setting, light flashing three times to start working.
  • In working condition, the light is normal on.

TEMPERATURE DISPLAY FOR LOWER PLATE (18)

  • Power on indicates 000 ⁰C.
  • Temperature setting range 90-230 ⁰C.
  • After temperature is setting, light flashing three times to start working.

HEATING DISPLAY FOR UPPER PLATE (12)

  • Turn on power, the light is in white color, it is normal on.
  • When heating, light is in red color and starts to flashing.
  • When stop heating, light is in red color and normal on.

HEATING DISPLAY FOR LOWER PLATE (17)

  • Turn on power, the light is in white color, it is normal on.
  • When heating, light is in red color and starts to flashing.
  • When stop heating, light is in red color and normal on.

TIMER CONTROL BUTTONS (11)

  • Each touch increase/decrease one minute.
  • Long press continuous increase/decrease.
  • In working condition, the light is normal on.

TIMER DISPLAY (10)

  • Power on indicates 0:00.
  • Timer range from 1 minute to 4 hours.
  • After timer is setting, countdown starts light flashing three times.
  • Without setting timer, light is normal on.

TIMER STATUS DISPLAY (9)

  • If countdown starts, light is normal on.
  • Without setting timer or timer is stopper, light is off.

  • Without start auto mode, the light is in white color, it is normal on.
  • Press 3 seconds to turn on an auto mode, the light turns in green color.
  • When an auto mode is on, you can increase/decrease time and/or temperature according to own taste.
  • Press 3 seconds to turn off an auto mode if you want to stop it.
BEFORE FIRST USE
  • Read all instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
  • Remove all packaging.
  • Clean the Cooking Plates by wiping a sponge or cloth dampened in warm water.
  • Dry with a cloth or paper towel.
  • For best results, lightly coat the cooking plates with a little cooking oil or cooking spray.

NOTE: when your Grill is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odor. This is normal with many heating appliances. This does not affect the safety of your appliance.

HOW TO USE
  • Insert the plug into the wall socket. There is a short beep sound, and the power button will breathing flash
  • If manual mode has been selected, set a temperature for preheating
  • After preheating is finished, Beep beep beep sound will ring out. Touch power button to stop it.
  • Open the grill, put the sandwich, meat or other foods on the bottom cooking plate.
  • Close the grill. You can adjust temperature and/or time according to your preference.

NOTE:

The desired temperature can be set between 90 ⁰C and 230 ⁰C. the desired temperature can be set between 90 ⁰C and 230 ⁰C.
At first, try a setting in the max for preheating. You may later adjust it lower according to your preference.

  • If one of the 5 auto modes is selected. The display will show the corresponding time and temperature. Beep beep beep sound will ring out after preheating.
  • Open the grill, put the sandwich, meat or other foods on the bottom cooking plate.
  • Close the grill. Touch power button and countdown starts. After countdown over, there is 5 beep will ring out to tip user that cooking is finished.

NOTE:

According to personal taste, you can increase or decrease time and/or temperature when you use auto mode.

  • When the food is cooked use the handle to open the lid. Remove the foods with plastic spatula.
  • Once you are finished cooking, disconnect the plug from the wall outlet and leave unit open to cool.

NOTE:

  • A short Beep will sound when each key press.
  • Press vegetables and beef stick keys simultaneously to cancel key tone if need be.
  • Pay attention to burns when you place food after preheating.
  • Never use metal knife or sharp things as these can cause damage to the non-stick coating of the cook plates.

CARE OF THE DEVICE

  • Clean the grill after each use. With regular cleaning of the appliance, the non-stick coating of the plates will last a long time.
  • Unplug the appliance and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Fully open the work surfaces and allow the appliance to cool down to room temperature.
  • Remove the remaining products with a scraper, wipe the work surfaces with a damp cloth, then dry thoroughly.
  • Pull out the oil collection tray, drain the fat, rinse the tray with warm water with a neutral detergent, then dry it thoroughly.
  • Wipe the grill body with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive detergents, solvents or metal washcloths to clean the work surfaces and the outer surface of the grill, as they can damage the non-stick or outer surface of the grill.
  • Never immerse the appliance, the power cord and the plug of the power cord in water!
  • Be sure to clean the appliance before putting it away for storage.
  • Wind up the power cord.
  • Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children.

The service life of this item is 5 years since the date of sale to the end user, provided the item will be used in strict accordance with the present manual and the applicable technical standards. Upon expiry of the service life please contact the nearest authorized service centre for suggestions as to further operation of the appliance. The manufacturing date of the appliance is integrated into the serial number (digits 2 and 3 – year, digits 4 and 5 – month of manufacture). DEAR CONSUMER!

The guarantee period for all appliances amounts to 12 months from the date of sale to the end consumer. With this Warranty Card the Manufacturer confirms the proper condition of the appliance and undertakes to repair, free of charge, all defects caused by the Manufacturer’s default.

GUARANTEE MAINTENANCE TERMS
  1. The guarantee shall be valid if the following documentation conditions are observed:
    • The original Warranty Card shall be filled out correctly and clearly, indicating the of appliance model, serial number and sale date, the stamp of the seller company and signature of its representative shall be available, as well as the stamps on each coupon and the buyer’s signature in the Warranty Card. The Manufacturer reserves the right to reject guarantee maintenance if the buyer fails to provide the abovementioned documents or if the information contained therein is incomplete, illegible or ambiguous.

  2. The guarantee shall be valid if the following operation conditions are observed:
    • the appliance is used in strict accordance with the present manual;
    • the safety rules and requirements are observed.

  3. The guarantee does not apply to regular maintenance, cleaning, installation and setup of the appliance at the owner’s location.

  4. The guarantee does not apply in the following cases:
    • mechanical damage;
    • normal wear of the appliance;
    • non-observance of operation requirements or erroneous actions on the part of the user;
    • improper installation or transportation;
    • natural disasters (lightning, fire, flood, etc.), as well as any other causes beyond the Manufacturer’s or Seller’s control;
    • ingress of foreign objects, liquids or insects into the inside of the appliance;
    • repairs or modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons;
    • use of the appliance for commercial purposes (loads exceeding normal domestic application), connection of the appliance to utility and telecommunication networks incompliant with national technical standards;
    • failure of the following accessories, if replacement of these is allowed by design and does not involve disassembly of the appliance:
    a. remote control units, rechargeable batteries, replaceable batteries (power cells), external power supply units and chargers;
    b. consumables and accessories (packaging, covers, slings, carry bags, mesh screens, blades, flasks, plates, supports, grilles, spits, hoses, tubes, brushes, nozzles, dust collectors, filters, smell absorbers);
    • for battery-powered appliances – operation with inappropriate or depleted batteries;
    • for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging.

  5. The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the consumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.

  6. The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or indirectly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumer’s or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.

  7. Service centers will only accept appliances in a clean state (there should be no food residues, dust and other contamination on the appliance).

The Manufacturer reserves the right to change the design and specifications of the appliance without prior notice.
