Product Information

The Sandwich Maker with Detachable Plates (Model: S1306SM) is an electric kitchen appliance designed for grilling and toasting sandwiches. It comes with two detachable plates, one for sandwich making and the other for grilling. The temperature can be adjusted between 1-5 and it has a ready lamp and power lamp for indicating the status of the appliance. The non-stick Teflon coating on the plates ensures easy cleaning and durability of the product.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Read the operating instructions carefully before connecting the device to the mains to prevent damage due to improper use. Pay particular attention to the safety information and save the instructions for future reference.
  2. Remove all packaging and clean the toasting surfaces with a soft damp cloth before initial use. Unwind the mains cable completely.
  3. Connect the appliance to an appropriate socket. The control lights will illuminate, and the plates will heat up. Wait until the appliance has heated up before grilling, during which you can prepare your food.
  4. Adjust the temperature setting by turning the temperature knob in positions from 1-5. Open up the appliance by pressing the knob and place your sandwich. Close the lid, making sure that the catch is engaged. Do not use force to close the lid.
  5. During toasting, the temperature regulating thermostat switches off and on again. The control light also switches off and on again. After completion of the grilling process (approx. 2-3 minutes), open the lid and remove the food with the help of a flat wooden or plastic spatula. Never use sharp or metal objects (e.g., knives, metal spatulas, etc.), as this will damage the Teflon coating of the plates.

  7. After the grilling process is complete, disconnect the mains plug immediately. Leave the appliance open and wait for it to cool down. The grilling surfaces, as well as the sides and top of the appliance, get very hot, so avoid any contact. Danger of burning! Only hold from the handle. The appliance must be always positioned horizontally during use.
  8. To change the plates, disconnect the mains plug and allow the appliance to cool down. Press the release buttons on each side and then take the plates out.
