- Connect the “I” shaped connector of the inner frame and tighten with the screwdriver.
- Place the inner frame on a clean floor and insert the corner braces.
- Place the corner braces into the four corners of the inner frame.
- With one hand, press the inner frame to align the corners and lightly tighten screws through the frame into the bracket with the other hand. Tighten all of the screws after the four corners are properly aligned.
- Install the support bar(s). There is 1 bar for screens under 100″ & 2 bars for screens 100″ and above.
- The inner frame is now assembled!
Assemble the screen
CAREFULLY take the screen surface out of the cardboard tube. Be sure not to
bend or crease the surface. Doing so will cause irreparable damage to it
.
All surfaces are inspected and confirmed free of any damage prior to
packaging.
-
Place the screen on a clean surface with the black backing of the screen facing upward.
-
Place the assembled inner frame on the back of the screen. Use the screen tags to align the corners of the frame.
-
Carefully insert the tension rods into the corresponding sleeves on the back side of the screen.
-
Adjust the inner frame to align the stickers of the screen. Place the screen in the middle of the inner frame and hook the screens to the frame. This is much easier to accomplish with a second person helping (as pictured).
Start from the middle springs and connect the corner springs using the pull hook. -
There are 2 different strength springs included. The black springs are the primary springs used on all 4 sides of the surface. The silver springs are extras and can be used to help resolve any tensioning issues that may arise. They are generally used in the corners (2 per corner) as needed. They can also be used to help add additional tension elsewhere on the surface as needed.
Attach the spring to the inner frame and use the pull-hook tool to stretch the screen into the eyelet of the surface, attaching to the rear of the tension rod.
Note : The spring hooks onto the outward side of the frame -
Connect the remaining springs and then flip the screen. Check to be sure that the screen is completely flat. If you see a wrinkle, readjust the springs and the screen.
Assemble the outer frames
- Fasten the inner and outer frames together. Install the frame.
- Insert the outer frame corner braces into the vertical outer frame. Place the corresponding screws onto the corner braces before inserting them into the outer frames.
- Insert the vertical frames into the outer horizontal frames at the same time.
- Gently screw the corner screws after fastening the outer frame. If the corner gap is too wide, adjust the outer frame gap and then tighten the screws. The gap should be narrow and correctly aligned after adjusting.
Attach tension clips
After the screen is assembled, attach clamps as depicted above to tighten the inner & outer frames to each other.
- Flip the front of the screen and ensure that all four corners are flat. If any are not flat, remove the outer frame and readjust the 4 corner springs, as well as the position of the screen.
Be careful not to bend or press the screen! The screen fabric is fragile and can easily be damaged.
Tip : There is a sticker behind the screen which indicates the downside. When installing the screen, please ensure that the fabric has been correctly vertically aligned.
Mount your screen onto a wall
- Concrete
- Brick
- Wood
Fix the two mounting brackets along a level horizontal line.
Use 3M tape to attach the steel plate on the bottom frame; the center of the
