D4410 24v Control Kit for 240v Electric Heater

Kit Includes:

  • 240v relay w/ 24v transformer
  • 20’ low voltage thermostat wire
  • Relay wiring connectors

For your protection, all electrical connections should be made by a qualified electrical contractor.

Connecting the Relay to the 240v Electric Heater:

  1. Remove the 4 screws at the bottom of the heater and remove the outer cover.

  2. Attach wiring terminals to relay wires. The fork terminal goes on the blue wire. Red and black wires can use either the male spade crimp connectors or the twist ones. In these instructions, we use the crimp connectors which are preferred. Twist connectors are also included if you do not have access to a crimping tool.

  3. Remove the black and white wires connected to the heater’s built-in thermostat as shown below. Connect the black wire from the relay to the white wire on the heater and the red wire on the relay to the black wire on the heater.ACF Greenhouses D4410 24v Control Kit for 240v Electric Heater - wire on the heater

  4. Locate the relay in the rear compartment of the heater as shown in the picture above. Now connect the blue wire on the relay to the H1 terminal on the heater.

  5. Connect the thermostat wire to the W and R terminals on the right side of the relay. You are now ready to place the cover back on the heater.

  6. At the bottom of the heaters grill, you will see some sections that are straight instead of L shaped.
Those sections slide into the slots on the base of the heater (2 slots on the rear and 1 in the front). The thermostat wire will fit in between the grill mesh openings (see below).ACF Greenhouses D4410 24v Control Kit for 240v
